Subject: My friends, McCain has made a lot of bizarre comments tonight such as ''having a cool hand at the tiller.'' WTH? At times he's almost sounded like Dubya. I agree with you, Sam, about Obama's comments on the war. I also thought he did great on the healthcare issue. ~i&b

Subject: (Sam) The other thing I noticed is McCain talked alot before addressing the issue, especially to the people asking the question. He was sucking up to the guy who served in the army or whatever it is, I can't remember exactly, and Obama merely thanked him and went on to answer the question. I think Obama can focus better on issues without panicking. McCain seems to want to go to war or to fight with others (Putin) where Obama would rather try and talk with these people who may be a threat.

Subject: He actually DID make a comment about people having insurance to afford perks like hair plugs. I too thought it was a dig at Biden. He then jokingly made a crack about maybe needing them himself...................Liz

Subject: What got me about those rating lines was that it was very obvious the audience preferred Obama all the way through yet when Soledad interviewed that audience the majority said they'd vote for McCain! How dumb are people!

Subject: That made no sense. They scored Obama higher throughtout the entire debate and then at the end said they'd vote for McCain. Makes you wonder what they're basing that on. ~i&b
