Subject: ITA about the 30s and 40s as the Golden Age. I loved Family Affair and I did not know about Garver. Wonderful story. You sound like an interesting guy. I avoided Gunga Din for years - my dad had it on the other day (vhs tape). I enjoyed it and didn't think I would. An Affair to Remember is one of my favorites too. I am amazed to find someone who also loved Make Way For Tomorrow - Heart wrenching. I just thought of another of my favorites - Dodsworth. Also Alice Adams. So many greats!
