Subject: Obama also has a senate seat to fill, as will Joe Biden. Obama officially resigned from the senate today. Don't know when Biden will, but soon. The governor of that state appoints someone to fill the seat until the next election. Except in Alaska, which may be VERY GOOD for us non-Palin fans, due to the current Alaska senate election which is still undecided.
