...the latest Citizenship test that is. People becoming citizens of the U.S. have to pass a test that I doubt most Americans born and raised couldn't pass. I didn't! Sorry to say, I scored 75 and the INS says you must score at least 80. Please, if you are a U.S. citizen, go take this 20 question test and let us know how you did. Don't cheat now. I'm going to take it again and try to do better! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25461301/

Message: I got 50%! I did cruddy!!! My excuse is I don't watch the news, and I took political science 20 years ago! I would have done fine on this test 20 years ago. :)
100%, but I took a blind guess on the question about the number of amendments.

Message: I got 95%, but I'm telling my son who teaches AP history and government, that I aced it. I lost track of the number of amendments. One answer didn't seem like enough, yet the other too many, so I guessed and guessed wrong.

Message: I got 100%. Honest. And I didn't cheat.
But I cannot tell a lie. Two questions were lucky guesses between two of the answers.
My job, on the other hand, requires me to know all of the questions involving current things. And I got lucky on two of the history-type questions.
I said the Constitution was written in 1776 (Duh! That was the Declaration of Independence), and that U.S. Senators only serve 2 years, when they serve 6. Confused them with U.S. Reps, I think.

Message: I missed three. I can see how that would be a difficult exam for someone who did not grow up in this country, especially if their home country is not a democracy.

Message: 95%. I missed the number of amendments in your constitution. I can see how this would be difficult to a newcomer. On the other hand, I am Canadian. We offer American History in our OAC year or the old grade 13. I adored history and took everything offered way back then.
