Additional Comments:

I can not believe a publisher (I think it was overseas, but not sure) has offered Sarah Palin something like $8 million for her memoirs.  And even Joe the Plumber is working on a book, to be out in about a month (boy, that was fast, must be a phamplet..LOL).  At this point in his Presidency, Clinton has received $14 million advance for his book.  But, as of now, no one has offered Dubya anything for his memoirs.  I really think that's sad, if it is true.

That is really odd isn't it?!! What is even odder is the fact that Laura Bush never kept a diary of her years in the White House and yet publishers are willing to give her a lot of money..for her memoirs. I am not sure I would want to read either one of those books.

  • I just now noticed I didn't do my ''spell check''....that should be ''Joe the Plumbler's PAMPHLET''!!!
  • (Sam) I didn't even notice that, I was laughing at the thought of his memoirs being a pamphlet!

Since W has said he doesn't read books perhaps he doesn't want to "write" one. And who would buy it? Not me

  • Actually, it's been reported Dubya's been shopping for a book deal and all the major publishers told him to get lost. At this point, he is too widely despised for anyone to believe a word he says, let alone actually buy his book. The publishers don't want to spend all that money just to have Dubya's self-serving BS end up in the bargain bin. Apparently they are willing to give Laura a deal, though. ~i&b
