Additional Comments: Did you know that chewing cinnamon gum helps you drop your blood sugar and this would be a natural aid for diabetics.  I heard this on the John Tesh Show.

I didn't know that. Did you know wearing a necklace of garlic will not keep vampires away?

I brew green tea every day, put both ginger and cinnamon  in it.  Pop it into the fridge to get it cold.  Drink it next day with ice.  Delicious.

I read that cinnamon will also lower triglycerides, and the ginger settles my stomach, which is upset from taking so much ibuprophen.

This is so interesting....never heard this before. Since my blood glucose level is creeping up, I'm interested.

Does anyone know what the dosage is if you choose to take it in tablet/capsule form??

I didn't know John Tesh had a show, but I did know about cinnamon, and not just gum.  Cinnamon in general is touted as being good for lowering blood sugar.  There was a big article on the news about this around 2 years ago or so (maybe more).  I like to put a cinnamon stick in coffee grounds when I brew coffee.

  • Cinnamon is supposed to be helpful in weight loss too. I guess because is lowers the blood sugar level it probably also helps to stabilize it? Which in turn would help to prevent those cravings that we get due to blood sugar swings. eom/faysie
  • Rushlan, John Tesh has a daily and a weekly syndicated radio show. Link inside to his website. Click radio show and it has stations listed by state that run it. / Sapphire
