Subject: But I think the writers are going to try to make Nikki as Katherine's replacement when she retires. They always have Nikki calling Katherine, etc. When did Nikki and Katherine become so buddy-buddy?-lj

Subject: Katherine and Nikki have always been very good friends. At one time, Katherine even treated her like a daughter. They both were extremely rich and they complemented each other. Nikki often went to Katherine in her times of woe and Katherine often went to Nikki to give her advice she thought she needed. They were always there for each other. And Katherine has always been a good friend of Victor's. - Marilou

Subject: Actually Katherine mentored Nikki in the roll of TGVN's wife. LOL She took the young Nikki off the pole and turned her into a pillar of society, got her on all the boards of the charitable organizations, etc. They have always been very close. I think Katherine thinks of Nikki more as a daughter than Jill. ShirleyB
