I can already see Tyra being set up to be offered a great job somewhere because she has hotel management experience.

I hope someone notices that the Hotel went broke and closed under her management skills.

Time tfor Neil to call Paul and T.J. to look into exactly WHY the hotel went belly up. She's a smooth talker . . . too smooooooth. Wonder if there was something fishy going on with her at the top.

And . . . just for the record . . . I want to *Jill-slap* Devon for being such a hard-headed, sourpuss doofus.

Don't worry Victor will hire her..just like he did Karen..and maybe she'll go to work for Sabrina..or as a assistant vice president for R&D at Newman Enterprises..We just know that Tyra will be the next top dog at one of the corporations in GC!! A lot better then her sister that's for sure.

I'll say this.... The guy that's playing Devon definitely has some acting skills in his back pocket. He plays the 'protective of family' part to perfection. He didn't have to say much to suggest how he felt about Neil butting in.

Since she claims to have *hotel managerial* experience, perhaps she can land a gig at the GC Athletic Club. Free room and board, use of health club facilitie and meals - that would be a sweet deal for her.

Tyra is being set up to be the new face of (whatever the new line is jill/nik). Please remember she was America's Next Top Model. Chloe is trying to get the job and I believe Tyra will get it because of Cain. JMO

Hadn't thought of that either... but it does make sense. Maybe Tyra can teach Lily a trick or two??? !! I won't mind seeing Chloe fail in her sneaky attempt.... As Gloworm would say, it's all in her 'karma'. eom/faysie

I bet you are right too. Ever since she came on I thought she would somehow get attached to modelling because of what she has done in RL. Now all we have to figure out is how to get rid of that annoying kid of hers....

I thought that Neil was right to be a little suspicous about Aunt Tyra's job back in Seattle. She just shows up in town, out of the blue, stays for a few days but never mentions when she's leaving? That doesn't sound like a person with a steady job.

ITA. I also thought Devon was being overly resentful of Neil's concern. eom/faysie

I don't automatically see why the hotel closing would be on Tyra's head. She could have been in management and had absolutely nothing to do with the ultimate fate of the hotel (i.e. front desk manager or something).

Devon is acting the same way he did when Yolanda first came to town and she was living with the Winters too. Everytime Dru and Neil would get a little suspicious about something, Devon would get that defensive attitude about her. They weren't even allowed to open their mouths without him getting bent out of shape over it. Even when she tried to seduce Neil, Devon was ready to blame HIM for the whole incident.

I'm just speculating, but in a lot of smaller family-owned hotels only the owner would be in charge of advertising/promotions etc. This sounds like it was that sort of place. If they weren't willing to spend the $$ to attract the people, then it wouldn't be Tyra's fault. I got the impression that her job was probably more 'internal' stuff and not so much the promotions and advertising.... but this is just my gut reaction.
