It appears that basically Gloria believes that her jailmate is K. Chancelor. Yet, when talking to Michael and Laurin she says Nothing about her newly found old friend and is just happy enough to remain in jail because she doesn't want Mikey to "take any short cuts". (Gimme a break.)

What is Gloria doing? Why can NOBODY think to suggest a d@<> dentist compare dental records, a very common and probably one of the oldest methods of identifcation?! Murphy may not be a rocket scientist; but, I daresay he can read and is capable of having his own small business...but this is (mainly) about Gloria and what do any of you think she is up to?

Yes, it should be fairly simple to prove she's Katherine (blood test, dental records, etc.) but - first, she has to get a lawyer to do all of that for her. She's in jail because Jill and the cops didn't believe her, and it's her responsibility to prove who she is - not their's. Especially if they don't believe her, they have no motivation to do so.

In the beginning Gloria was so much fun to watch--she was funny but now she's selfish, cruel woman. She takes full advantage of her children, thinking they owe it to her. Cruel in taking advantage of Katherine in the way that she has and is thinking of doing. And Kevin--shame on him with the car incident with Katherine. Mean, mean, mean. I used to like Glo now I can't stand her. Horrible woman. She and that miserable man Jeffrey deserve each other.

Yes, Gloria (played by Joan Van Ark) started out a very different character. She was kooky and kwirky, amusing and sometimes pathetic. Judith's Gloria, while entertaining, is just downright mean and greedy. I have a very hard time feeling sympathy for her the way she takes every single opportunity and twists it immorally to her advantage. VegasHank

Now that you brought that up, I really did think that Glo as played as Joan VanArk seemed rather mentally challenged and definitely strangely one-dimensional (jmo)...Lb

Obviously Glo doesn't want word to get out that Kay is alive and in the slammer, that is until Glo can fill Katherine's head with a bunch of kerap and ingratiate herself. She probably wants to find a way to keep that 5% of Jabot stock so she won't lose her place in the company after Katherine's estate reverts back.

yeah, and when Gloworm has her properly indoctrinated, Then she tells Mikey, etc. and the truth will begin to emerge - makes sense

It would be my guess that Kevin will use Katherine's money to bail her out of prison. Kevin, being Gloria's son, will make Katherine in Gloria's debt. When Katherine "returns" and takes Jabot back over, she will make sure all charges against Gloria are dropped. I know things don't really work that way, but anything is possible on soaps. Also, she and Gloria would be close friends from now on, or at least a few months.

The first thing I thought of was a blood test. But, yeah, dental records, fingerprints, dna...any number of things, but I guess, as it is, Katherine's memory isn't helping them think she might actually be herself. I remember back when Marge was masquerading as Katherine, she tried staying away from Jill because Jill has known Kay forever and knew something wasn't right with her. I'm guessing Esther would know the difference if she saw her. Not that Jill would listen to her.

But, please keep Amber away from her!

The ring - and knowing Gloria she may well eventually ask Kaye something about her jewelry, which could spur on the truth from That end...b/c if Nikki gets hold of this info, she'll see through Everything!...Lb

But couldn't Marge have stolen the ring? Dental records seem the most logical. I hope this isn't drug out too long when it seems so simple to solve it. VegasHank

ITA, VH, which is why it sooo bothered me that Gloworm didn't begin telling Michael and Lauren immediately...I know, foolish hopes and dreams..Lb
