Usually I like more youth on this show. But having this kid on the show is all wrong. She is a bad fit , as is her aunt. She has sung how many times on the show so far? Twice? She has to go, pronto.

I'm not being mean but I just didn't find the kid anything special - her singing or her acting. She is a total waste of a character right now, along with Tyra. If they were going to bring Karen back for Neil then why bring on a new character. Hey, I knew from day one that Tyra was going to be the new love interest for Neil - saw that one coming miles away - and now she's moving in with him - gee what a surprise storyline - do TPTB think we don't guess?

You know, I have nothing against the kid, I think she has a beautiful singing voice, but that is not why I watch soaps. I really don't want to hear anyone sing and take up airtime. I also don't understand why the writers felt they needed to bring on yet another child. I think it would have been more interesting if Tyra came on the show and didn't have any children. At least that way, if somewhere down the line they decided to hook her up with Neil, maybe he would finally find someone that is interested in having children. And I agree with other posters about the child singing about jesus in a nightclub, that was really inappropriate, unless she was trying to save a few souls before breakfast.

On the bright side, It doesn't take as long to watch Y&R because I FF through her scenes because she is annoying and I know nothing important to any storyline will happen as long as she is singing or talking. Note to soap writers: Children should be seen and not heard (much) on Soaps unless they are as talented as Camryn Grimes (Cassie). Since few children are that talented, I don't want to see or hear much from them....

I like kids, don't get me wrong but they are not really what I tune in for on a soap....so a kid that really has no connection to the main characters, no history, and is singing about Jesus in the middle of a nightclub is just really odd and out of place..IMHO

How old is this kid supposed to be? She is only a few inches shorter than the adults. I noticed when they were all standing around talking, she is very tall.

Is she 12, 6, 16? Judging by her size, she ought to be old enough to know enough to shut up and butt out of adult talk. One more mouthy kid...just what we need.

I just kneeeew that kid was going to end up staying. This show must have some kind of rule....there always has to be at least ONE obnoxious child on the canvas! I don't mind a kid scene here and there but not when they act all hammy and have lots of lines, lol. Just give us a normal kid who has friends (their own age), goes out and plays and doesn't have any interest in all of the adult business.

Why is Y&R doing this? Do they think their audience really wants to sit thru a little girl signing. I'm FFing.

They're making a big mistake. This is also unfair to the little girl. She's probably a very sweet kid but she's only going to receive a negative response from this audience. This is the wrong place to showcase her.
