Additional Comments: It has been quite some time since I have posted here. I took a sabbatical from Y&R for awhile. Although, I do still read the posts of others. Is it just me or do I sense a hookup coming between Deacon and Phyllis?

Message: No, not sensing a thing.

Message: Well, Syphillis does have a history of hooking up with men who have gone after her son!

You have a point. It depends of the kind of hook-up. Not a romantic or lusty hook-up-I say a pairing ala Sheila Carter and Tom Fisher. Friday's eppy showed Gloria and Ryder talking. Then Ryder tipped Deacon off about Amber and Daniel's wwedding and then Deacon told Phyllis.
I would agree and say a criminal hook-up between Deacon and Phyllis is in the works, yes.

Message: The way he was looking at her the other day, it sure looked to me like a hook up is not far away. And remember when she slapped him when she first found out who he was? I'll bet he loved that. He loves women he can't have or that are repulsed by him.

I posted on another topic (about Phyllis' hair) that I wondered if this - a Deacon/Phyll pairing - would be the next insidious s/l.
When Red needed to get just a breath away from him to "let him have it" and then seemed to enjoy staying there, I knew that would be the next thing...remember how she and Nick originally were "at each other's throats"? (gagging sounds here) We can see where that led. So with the "creativity" (LOL) of our present writers, I can certainly see where it would be much better to go this route. Than say, fixing the horrid baby switch s/l.

Message: That would be GREAT! They deserve each other. I liked Deacon's character when he first came on the scene at B&B...and I liked he and Amber together back then. But now he is just a slime bucket and that's what I think about Phyllis. Maybe they will get together and ride off into the sunset.

Message: PULEEZ NO. Enough of Deacon. He's a worthless slimmy character.

Message: I heard Deacon is (thankfully) leaving. He is one of the worst characters that I won't miss if he leaves.
