Makes sense to me. They're all about to get their eviction notices from the ranch, so where will they go? My guess is they'll show up at Mama Nicki's fab new mansion. Let's see...there'll be Vicki, JT, Reed (and Gabby), Nick, Phyllis, Summer, and possibly SORASED Noah (part-time), with Fisher probaly tagging along too. Oooooooh, the joy of family! Poor Miguel will probaly get called out of retirement. Maybe David will get that realtor's number from Jack....the one that found him that house, overnight...that was so perfect, he didn't even have time to consult with Sharon about it.
Phyllis owns the apartment that Ambr's living in. I'm sure Phyllis would take great pleasure in telling Amber that she has to move out so that she, Nick and Summer can move in.
This new house of Nikki's will be a recycled situation, just like the Abbotts were all living at the Abbott mansion with their significant others for a long time. There is only Jack left and he will soon be divorced from Sharon. Victoria and Nick and their families have been thrown out of the ranch. So the little and big Newmans (including Phyllis and her motormouth) will be moving in, Abbott style. And Miguel is not coming back. Victor has some time ago received a telephone call to that effect.
And maybe the trailer (oops, the Abbott mansion) will now be inhabited and haunted by trashy Gloria and Jeff, Kevin and Jana, Michael and Lauren and Fen.
The staple families will now be the Abbotts and the Bardwell-Baldwin-Fisher. I gather the original families did come and go in the 80's, so why not the Abbotts. Maybe Jack will move to L.A. with Ashley and Abby, never to be seen again. His feud with Victor is getting very old and boring.
