Topic: Bravo Maria Bell! Finally Phyllis gets an Adversary that is her EQUAL! Let

the games begin! Stacy Hudiak is an awesome actress. Whether she is playing Patty or Dr. Peterson she is an A game actress all the way. Y&R was really missing a woman who could go toe toe with the fierce redhead and we finally have her in Dr. Peterson/Patty!

I have seen youtube clips of the catfights: Dru vs Phyllis and Diane vs Phyllis and they were classic.

I am not here to knock Sharon but she doesn't have the chops to hang with Michelle and their catfights were a complete joke. I am glad MAB/HS have seen the light and hopefully have given up the Sharon/Phyllis rivalry. It just doesn't work.

Phyllis has proven over the past decade she can mop the floor with any adversary that comes her way, so I don't see it as much of a contest.

I love Stacy and would rather see them redeem Patty and keep that character and ditch Emily.  The doctor seems bland and boring, and too much like Mary Jane in the beginning.

No, no, no!!!! I want Emily to stay around and give it to Phyl. I'm tired of :Phyllis being the only power female around. The others have been so namby pamby. Puleeze, let Emily show Phyllis a few things or two. --Patty--poor Patty is pathetic. I want her to go back to herself and get her own face back and get well. But let's keep Emily around.--Paula

I was actually just trying to point out to Patty34 that Michelle is not Phyllis. That Sharon Newman is not up against Michelle, but Phyllis. I think there is some confusion there sometimes.

Of course Phyllis going in to see Patty is stupid. lol But as the folks on this board have told me so often, it is a soap!  Once I got use to babies being "switched" and women stealing sperm to get pregnant  (my personal favorite) and DNA "switches" (the all time STUPID storyline) I accept stupid as the norm for soaps.

I don't like the Emily character. She comes across as too "starchy" and certainly it is creepy that Jack jumps her so soon after being with her lookalike Patty. I think the lookalike plots have to go.  The plot was stupid in that Phyllis was even let in to see Patty. Doesn't the Good Doctor have a list of people who CAN see her and question "walk-ins." It seems incompetency on the doctor's part.
