Deacon was on B&B years ago, as a matter of fact, I started watching B&B way back when Amber had stolen her cousins baby and was raising it as her own. That was a very good sl and when Becky got the baby back it was revealed that Deacon was the father of the child. But that was so many years ago, now in rl the picture of the son would make him the right age, but in soap years he should be in High School by now. Maybe they are doing that so we will forget how old Amber is suppose to be, because she should be much older than Daniel.

Message: Because he hasn't been SORASED. When some kids are SORASED, not all of them are. Take Leah on GL for example. She went from being a baby to being 14, and her older brother (when she was a baby) turned into her YOUNGER brother! That SORASING can really mature some people QUICKLY!!!!

Message: The Alphabet kid should be no less then college age. Steffy and her twin Phoebe were babies and ABC kid was a little older. On the B&B Steffy is currently 19 or 20.If he's only 10 it's to keep Amber younger then she is, according to B&B sl.

There was an article about Amber and Rick Forrester.
In 1998 she was supposed to be 18. That would make her 29 now.
She was a nanny to Rick who was 16 at the time.
Amber bedded Rick and got pregnant.
In 1999 Rick's parents consented to let Rick marry Amber.
Amber gave birth to a still born son while I believe she was at her mom's trailer in Death Valley.
Her cousin Becky at the same time had given birth to a son.
Amber substituted her dead baby with Becky's baby.
Becky found out about the baby switch and demanded her son back.
Amber had to tell the truth to Rick.
Rick got an annulment from Amber.
They remained in love and re-married in 2001. They split up again two years later.
That baby of Becky's was also Deacon's.That means the child should be about 10 years old. I guess the writers kept this child his true age.

Message: I think this son is a different child than that one from the B&B storyline...he has never talked about the son before with anyone except Ryder and whoever it was on the phone that he told to hide his son. If it had been the boy that Amber had claimed as hers, you'd think he would have mentioned him to her. Also, you are right that he would be old enough to be on his own by now, so why all the need to hide him...he'd be able to take care of himself, unless he was a little boy. The next obvious question is, who is the kid's mother? If we care, that is, which I don't...I can't stand the character of Deacon and wish he was gone.
