Ester could rearrange the decanter and the glasses. Something like that would drive Jill bonkers when she couldn't find them.

I don't think Esther has to actually do anything, simply breathing is enough.

BTW, I don't see Esther redecorating. On the contrary, she would probably want to turn the house into a shrine to Mrs. C.

I'd like to see Esther offer her new home to her wide circle of maid-friends, so that they can all hold Tupperware parties in the Chancellor mansion LR every month. A crowd of ladies eating, laughing, and talking tupperware should thoroughly irritate Jill.

Didn't Esther annoy Mrs C by talking about health food now and them? She could offer to make Thanksgiving dinner and serve a Tofurkey.

Esther's mere presence has always driven Jill bonkers, so she doesn't need to do anything but breathe.

I'd like Billy to come visit his mother, find E & J in the livingroom and suggest that Jill go make them all some tea.
