Topic: Nice little *treat* in today's closing credits ...

Additional Comments:

Victor Newman was completely erased from the cast list.   First time in 29 years we've seen a cast list that didn't feature Goat Daddy.   I also noticed that his photographs in the opening credits have been tossed into the trashcan.  Just like he never even existed.   If only it were forever.

(Melody Thomas Scott was still listed in the closing crawl.)

It is GLORIOUS that his ugly mug has been deleted in the opening photographs! And he's not on the cast list? Even better! And I'm glad that Melody Thomas Scott still is.

I am sorry I missed that.  It would have been great not to see EB's name listed in the credits. Y&R continues to list actor's names in the credits long after they are gone so it is particularly interesting that they removed EB's name as soon as he waddled off the set.  They were obviously serious about letting him go.  Too bad he will be returning.  Glad to hear that Melody Thomas Scott's name was still included in the cast list.

I'm reminded of an old interview with Meg Bennett done not long after she started on Y&R as Julia Newman, wherein it was revealed that The Old Goat was only supposed to be on the show for six months .. also known as one, 26-week contract cycle .. lol!

Ricky, Ricky, Ricky. Don't you know that by the time EB has his "time off" due to the "negotiations," all those fans who staged the enormous "fan outrage" that he cited as the reason for his reconsidering taking the pay cut will be glued to their sets and chomping at the bit for his return. No doubt, when he comes back, the ratings are going to SOAR beyond new heights. You just watch! ;-)

No way in he** Y&R could actually survive, let alone prosper w/o the infamous EB.
