Its been over a year and that still has not happened.

However. Victor gets shot out of the blue and he and Niki are back arm-in-arm and off on a rip together just like that.

Hmmm....

Thoughts?

Maybe bc Victor and Niki are older they know what they want and Sharon and Nicholas are still just young and filled with too much angst!!!! LOL!!!!

The writers think the Nick/Sharon/Phyllis triangle is their bread and butter. As long as they can perpetuate that never ending triangle, they will. They have no intention of ever resolving it one way or another, the very conflict is the source of what they believe is so "compelling."

Or maybe the current writers are big DOLTS that THINK the viewers enjoy the abusive old goat and the glutton for punishment. I hate Victor and Nikki and wish they would both just disappear and never return. She is a broken record who keeps going back to the abuse and he is just a mean ole crotchety goat. The only time I like Victor and think that he is being sincere is when he has scenes with Sharon. Otherwise, give the goat the boot!

Victor come across like a dirty old man with Sharon. Whereas Sharon always seems kind of flirty with Victor and it is a reminder of when she jumped his bones. Victor is not sincere with the dimwitted Sharon either. He is only nice to her because she always kisses his old butt. The one time Sharon mildly opposed him in regard to Brad he was as dismissive of her as he is of everyone else. Victor and Sharon's scenes are sickening.

Sharon didn't 'jump his bones'. She kissed him, period. Then SHE freaked out, too, and left town. Always amazes me how it got exaggerated from a kiss to 'jumped his bones' ..... April

With Victor/Nikki, I think you have to take into consideration the recent contract brouhaha with EB. IOW, they rushed an exit that basicially had Victor and Nikki going off together (in a quasi-sunset ending) - yet they also left the door open for other possible scenarios to transipire for the future of the Nikki character depending on what happened with EB.

Sharon tells Nick "You should give Adam a chance and get to know him. He cares about people, he's really funny" Is she on something or just a bonehead? I've probably seen every episode with Adam and I've never considered him to be funny. Maybe there was an episode where Adam starts with "A man walks into a bar with a duck on his head" I musta missed.

One more thing..a year ago Victor and Ashley were happy but now they are divorced..and Ashley is having severe delusions of grandeur..I would never have suspected that last year when A&V were in Paris!!

I like Sharon and Nick together. As far as soaps go, the roadblocks to them getting back together are soap-like. I do see them getting back together. The latest roadblock...(Adam) is very off-putting though.
