Topic: Gloria's best line ever

Additional Comments:

Gloria delivered her best line ever today. I actually cheered when she told Michael to "Get over it."

Michael was acting like children of single parents occasionally do-they get mad at their father, so they take it out on the mother.

For once, I actually said, "You go, Gloria!"

But that won't last long. After all, it is Gloria.

I kind of agree with you.  I think Mikey totally overreacted about this whole *father* thing.  I realize Gloria is a liar and you can't trust her, but Michael should know that by now.  He seems to have major anger issues with his family, and while understandable, I think he has to learn how to deal with them without getting so upset.  He has a family of his own to focus on now.

The only good line GloHo can say is "Goodbye. I am moving to some island in the middle of nowhere and you will never see me again.''

I will NEVER side with Gloria nor feel sorry for her. Not after all she's done.

Gloria is a terrible human being.  I don't know how anyone could side with her.  She has done such ugly things. CRIMINAL things. She may actually be catching up with Victor on my intense dislike list.  She is a horrible mother too.  What has she ever done for anyone but herself?  No the money doesnt count because she thought it would help HER Karma.  She doesnt know the meaning of altruistic.

  • who hasn't??
  • ok... when they make her 'pay' for what she's done.... I'll consider it. And I don't consider losing money that she schemed to inherit in the first place, 'earning' it'.eom/faysie

Ya know, it's alot easier to get over stuff when one is actually told about it.  Gloria hides & dodges (& of course out-and-out lies through her teeth), then acts like a pitiful victim when she's found out and, *gasp* people are mad at her for her garbage.  Poor, poor wittle GloWorm... NOT!!  The mere fact that the man can stand to look at this horrible user of a woman, let alone consider her his mother & worthy of protection, show his incomprehensible ability to ''get over it.''  Much, much more than she deserves.

  • Gloworm edits any story involving her so that it reflects her in the best possible way... Michael or Kevin only get the truth when they stumble on it through some other means and confront her with it. With her lies, and errors of omission, they can never trust what she tells them. eom/faysie
  • Shadowdancer you make good points especially the one about Michael's ''incomprehensible ability to get over it'' regarding Gloria and her antics. Everytime he defends her I'm at a loss for words. Gloria's like some Virus that keeps replicating. I'm a believer in forgiving and allowing space for change...but there has to first be repentance and so far Gloria hasn't gone there...not in her heart. .....OT

Poor Gloria....NOT!  I don't feel one bit of sympathy for her.  Michael asked her to actually behave like a mother and tell him the truth about his father.  But, Gloria, being Gloria, does what she does best.  Lie.  She owed him the truth when he asked for it.  Gloria always believes everyone else should just "get over it."  So long as she is never expected to just get over it.  So long as everyone is pitying and paying attention to her she eats it up as long as she can.  When one of her sons needs her to be the grown up...for a change, they should just suck it up and get over it when she isn't capable.  Perfect example today with Kevin...poor me I only have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and could I have a glass of free water.  She knew exactly what game she was playing with that, and she got just what she wanted.  A free lunch from Kevin...with fries.
