Wow! That was fascinating. She talks about the development of the show, the writing process and comments on bell, lml, and actors. Her ending comments about staying on the show are interesting in light of what happened.

nteresting and sad! She should have remained with the show. She knew the history of the show better than anyone else, was a great writer for it, and loved and respected the show and the industry. It was also interesting how she mentioned that, in the past, she had the final say in both story and casting. However, things had changed before she left with more voices in the fold. That's absolutely true of every soap out there, and is what has mainly contributed to the downfall of this once great genre. /eom

Ironic that almost immediately after this interview, they booted her out the door in favor of the (disastrous) Latham Hag. Although I wasn't a very big fan of Kay Alden's scatterbrained writing techniques, I thoroughly enjoyed the interview ... Ricky
