Additional Comments: Jill has the worst looking "top" on that I have EVER seen anyone wear on this show. It makes her look huge and just sort of seems to billow around her and is taking on a life form of it's own. Nina's comes in second. It also makes her look bigger than she is and is the ugliest color. What are the costume people thinking or trying to convey.

I agree. I've been shopping for clothes lately. Seems there is clothing for two age groups and occasions ONLY: (1) MTV/teenie-bopper, or (2) dinner at the old folks home! There is precious little in between if you're past the MTV stage but still fit/slim and not ready to look like a frump or covered from head to toe!

I have to agree with you about Jill and Nina's clothing; however, Mrs. C. has been sporting absolutely gorgeous clothes lately -- her suits are terrific. I also liked Ashley's feminine blouse which she wore today in her scene with Michael.

This is maybe why. Y&R wanted to showcase these characters, and make the others 'background scenery.' -lj

I meant showcase Mrs. C and Ashley. Also, this is how they could redeem Adam. make him wear the best looking clothes of anyone in the scene. -lj

Have you been shopping in the past year? Everywhere you shop you see butt ugly clothes!! It is very difficult to find anything decent to wear if you are female. The designs and fabric are terrible and I never wear them, although I see people that obviously think they are stylish.

And the worst thing about all the butt ugly clothes is that they are low waisted so your pubic hair about shows and the tops are tight fitting and sooooo not appropriate for the office setting. I hate shopping for clothes anymore just because they are making everything so sleezy that you can't wear them anywhere but out at clubs and stuff. eom.

I don't know where you're shopping or what you're looking at but I could go on a shopping spree right now and find loads to buy. Just did a little. Bought some great stuff. But who knows? You might think what I bought was ugly too. Some think Jill's necklaces are awful--I like most --not all but most of them ,very much. Howeve, I do agree with you people on that particular blouse she was wearing. It made her look pretty big which she isn't. --Paular

I am talking about all the fabric with large flower or swirl designs and the tops that make one look pg. Also, you have to watch the sizes as they are making them tighter all the time. Look at the shirts and blouses on the characters, they are always one or two sizes too small. Personally, I like my clothes a little loose even if I do weigh only 104#.

Gotta agree on both counts, though I usually do like Jill's clothes, as well as her chunky necklaces and accessories, which suit her style. But that black and white top was a little too pouffy and made her look bigger than she really is.

Nina, on the other hand needs a makeover. True, she is not a perfect size 6, but that doesn't mean she can't still look good, and she actually is very attractive. But her clothes are frumpy and make her look older and larger than she really is.
