Yikes....Looks like EB is now really calling the shots more than ever!

With Y&R fans thrilled about Eric Braeden remaining on their favorite soap, it appears as if some disappointment is coming their way. Braeden, who has been given some creative control over storyline in his new contract, recently nixed a nude scene between him and a co-star. What is his reaction over the millions of disappointed fans out there?
"Well, I'm flattered, of course, and not really surprised that my beloved fans wanted to see it," admits Braeden.
"Who wouldn't want to see me naked? I have had numerous nude scenes before in my long and illustrious career as an actor and model in the entertainment industry, and I have always enjoyed doing them. But, in this case, I just felt it was tasteless, and it didn't really advance story. So, I told them, forget it, and walked off the stage. But, I returned a few minutes later."
Interestingly, Y&R insiders tell a different story.
"It's true that it was originally written for Victor, but then we decided to give it to Adam instead," states one staff writer, preferring anonimity.
"It wasn't our decision. It's just that it's all about focus groups and what supposedly attracts those teenage viewers these days. I don't agree with it, but our studies showed that Adam would be somewhat more of a draw."
However, Braeden insists that is not the way it went down.
"That is pure, f** hogwash, and a complete g**m lie," screams Braeden.
"No offence to Michael Muhney," continues Braeden. He is a talented actor, but I've seen him....all of him....in the gym shower after our workouts, and...well, frankly, there is not much to see there. There is no way they would have him take off his clothes and embarras himself in front of the world like that. There is just no f** way."
The Y&R writer, and EP, Paul Rauch, confirm that the nude scene with Muhaney will air on the December 24th Christmas Eve episode.
This is a joke right? Impossible to believe that the show wanted the over the hill pot bellied wrinkled prune EB to have a nude scene?
Your source has it all wrong. The real story is that TPTB wanted to use a body double for Victor's nude scene, but EB insisted that he be allowed to do it. That's what started the big argument causing him to waddle off the set. And I do mean waddle. Stuff was swinging all over the place. Apparently, some of the craft workers in hair and makeup called the union requesting hazard duty pay. Production was shut down for the remainder of the day.

I won't be watching on Christmas Eve day if that's going to be on.

Oh, come on, this one is obviously a joke. Not funny to me but I'm sure it's funny to some. And that's how it should be, we're a diverse group. :) Anyone is welcome to post what they want here.

There he goes again, making an @ss of himself by spouting off. First of all, he thinks he has this enormous number of fans and then he thinks they all (plus the rest of us) want to see his old decrepit body naked! And then he has the audacity to put down another actor too! MM must just be loving him right about now!
Why on earth would they have given him any creative control in his new contract? I think they had the ball in their court over the negotiations, so why give him that? And how 'creative' is he being by refusing to do a nude scene anyway? You would think he'd want to show off in that way...why of course he needs to prove he's a virile man yet doesn't he? Of course, getting it on with old Nikki may not be the best way to go, but what would he really care? Would this have included her as well?
And why are they doing a nude scene on a soap on regular TV? I wouldn't think that is allowed.
