Subject: We can agree to disagree on the Leanne v Kenley personality thing, but my point also was that the judges have savaged many a designer for only striking one note. And the floppy-folds were just that. I agree with you that Leanne more than just folds all season long, but they were a major theme for her, and most importantly, the ONLY theme of the final runway. I am not aware (and I could be wrong) of any instance where a runway designer was favored for doing a pant/dress/skirt (and calling that variety), I just don't remember that being a criteria (for if it had, I guess all 3 women would have designed a pant/skirt/dress in order to please the judges). No imagination in Leanne's final designs, and the only suspense was, I wonder where she will put the flaps on the next outfit- the collar? the hem? the skirt? For me, of all the PR designers that have won it overall so far, Leanne was the biggest stretch (again, I thought Jerrel had it this season). Just my opinion though, and it is interesting how polar opposite we feel about it . . . makes the show fun! attylaura
