Seriously, this has got to be one of my guilty pleasures. I have watched the OC and Atlanta versions of the show. I did not really get into the NY version. It is amazing how vapid these women are. None are really that likeable.

Vicki: Well, she is crazy. It amazes me how level headed her daughter Briana is. she was just so obnoxious to the new girls and while I am in no way a fan of either of those ladies, they are all part of an ensemble and at least have to attempt to interact. She also views anyone with a different outlook as a personal affront. Jeana didn't go off with her to be mean about the new girls simply to push Vicky's buttons (in Vicky's eyes).

Gretchen: I actually do not mind her that much. Sure she is as annoying as the next one, but compared to Vicki and Tamara she is much easier to take. ANyoen who can piss off Vicki and Tamara is awesome in my book. That said, I was disappointed in Gretchen tonight with the ring and boasting in front of Jeff's kids. They'd trade all her jewelery for their Dad back in a heartbeat. I can't fault her for the lavishness.. he gave it to her willingly and their relationship is what it is but she shouldn't have flaunted it. I do think she and Jeff know what their arrangement is. He wanted some arm candy and she wanted a sugar daddy. I do think they might have come to care for each other, not love, but care.

Jeana: If Jeanna wouldn't have called Vicki and told her she saw a bunch of cars parked at her house while she was out of town, Jeanna would have have major hell to pay. I give Jeana props for just being herself and having fun at the races. Also, props for not getting sucked into Vicki and Tamara's mean girls antics.

Tamara: Ummm...she sure got catty. She bagged on Vicki to Lauri, then she declared Jeana's penchant for championing the "underdog" with disdain....like it's a bad thing. Then she railed on Gretchen to anyone who would listen. UGH!

Lynne: I still cannot believe that the dress Alexa wore in the episode last week was hers. When they showed Lynn sitting by herself at the races, I felt sorry for her. Of course Tamra and Vickie couldn't be bothered to include her in their conversation, but I was hoping Simon would at least turn around and say something to her! I mean, she was sitting right there, practically facing their group. Just because your wife is acting like a fifth grader, doesn't mean you have to play along. Did Tamra take his balls and hide them away in a closet next to that wicker cowboy hat she's so fond of? Having said that, Simon did look sharp.

When oh when will these insipid twits learn the rules. Vicki OWNS "the river" and Tamra OWNS the color pink. Deal with it!

vicki--needs to be slapped into last season and beaten. who the hell does she think she is? she is not attractive in the least and her personality makes her uglier. the way she treats her husband makes me sick.

jeanna--love her. she is the calm force in the show. she is the mama bear but has her moments as well. i feel bad for her as she is going thru her separation with her husband.

gretchen--jeff wanted arm candy and he got it. to 2nd guess that they don't love each other and it's 'real' is naive. he got exactly what he wanted out of her and so did she. now, i give her extra props for taking care of him. she is 20....?? and she has played nurse to him for quite a few months. even her kids were giving her kudos when they had to take care of him. i give her extra points for sticking it out with him for the most part.

tamra--go away and cry for your son and his tats. she is a follower and can't do anything for herself in fear of being ridiculed by the other housewives. she is a barnacle and she's attached herself to vicki's ass and is along for the ride. ugly.

lynn--girlfriend stay OUT of the sun. she is my age and looks older than my mom. great body, sure. her face, chest and neck totally make her over 65. she looks awful! did anyone notice her daughter pulling that stretchy dress down over and over? she was SO uncomfortable in that dress and yes, she did look like a streetwalker in it. and i don't care who's dress it was, it was wrong for a 15 yr old.

class, not crass. lynn--learn it, know it, live it.

  • oh and Laurie--great time to leave...your son is arrested for herion use and you don't care. you are so busy traveling and massages and yourself you don't even see how many resources you have at your hands to help him. no, please, go have another massage and more botox. i think i saw your eyebrow twitch last time you were on! oh my! movement!!!--carm
  • ITA. It is hard for me to dislike Gretchen, even if she is self absorbed and such, mainly because she seems to have a good attitude, and does not resort to Tamara or Vicki's level. Also, I believe that both Jeff and Gretchen knew what they wanted they were getting out of this so-called relationship. They seem to have an understanding. Lynn, reminds me of Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. IMO, Laurie seems to wrapped up in her fairytale life with George, that she does not seem to care that much about Josh. He might ruin her fairytale. eom Mimi
  • Well Jeff has since passed away since the show stopped filming. I guess we'll see how Gretchen acts now. Tabitha

You know, people talked about the Atlanta edition of this show.  They called the women low class, loud, and snobbish.   Well, that may be true, but if it is, then the OC housewives are their perfect matches!   Vicki is the nastiest, snottiest, most ignorant bitch EVER!  She treats everyone like servants, even her long-suffering husband, and everything is about her..."me, me, me", "how can they do that to me".   Ugh.  Tamra, I thought I liked last season but this season she seems to have crawled up Vicki's butt and she's come out a clone.  Her behavior is atrocious (grabbing her husband's "business" in public, just to name one example).   Look up "catty" in the dictionary and there are photos of Vicki and Tamra there.  Gretchen is a drama queen and gold digger extraordinaire, but at least she seems to try to get along with the others (although I don't know how she qualifies as a "wife" since she isn't married at all).  When she called Vicki out for telling her to shut up, I was cheering for her.   Who does Vicki think she is?!   Lynn, the new wife...I don't know what to say about her just yet.  I felt bad for her on last night's show when she was so blatantly ostracized by the other wives at the races.   But, then, I think back to the week before when her 15-year old daughter told her that her boyfriend called her a stripper because of the dress she was wearing, and an incredulous Lynn exclaimed, "That's a classy dress!  It's my dress!".  And she couldn't see that a 15-year old wearing it might make her look trashy?  Lori, IMO, is the only smart one of the bunch.  She got the hell out of dodge and got away from that drama and cattiness.  She's got her rich husband now and her family has come together and she seems to have realized what's really important in life and it's not playing out your life on a reality show.  I think that the only one I can really stomach this season is Jeanna.   She's not perfect, but she seems to have a better head on her shoulders than the rest of them.

  • I have to respectfully disagree about Laurie. I think she was also a gold digger. I feel bad for her son Josh. Yeah, she dropped out of the rest of this season, but I am sure she will be back. eom Mimi
  • Oh, I wanted to add that I can only judge the OC and Atlanta versions of this show, because I did not watch NY. I do think they each are equally horrible in terms of the cast and the drama. I do love watching this trainwreck though. eom Mimi

Hi Mimi, I LOVE this trainwreck show.... and Jeana is about the only one who I can even slightly imagine being able to sit down and have a cup of (designer) coffee with.  The rest are..... exactly as you described... and I love this show!!!!   ;-D

Vicki....  Please someone give her a valium!

  • I go back and forth on Jeana. Sometimes I like her sometimes she annoys me. In previous seasons she has annoyed me more, but this season she seems not to take any of Vicki's sh*t. I am sick of her daughter Kara, who thinks Berkley is all hippie's and such. I forgot the exact way she described them. Have you read the Ho-wives blogs on the Bravo site? They sure like to spin everything in their favor. Anyway, my favorite season was the one where the viewers were treated to Jo's horrible singing. Of course, she was not as bad as Kim from Atlanta. eom Mimi
