I was so happy to be able to spend my Sunday night with the Walkers once again. Its been a dry summer, barely even a repeat! I just got season 2 a couple of days ago (haven't had a chance to open it yet, but looks like there are some great extras too!).
Anywhos I want to watch yesterday's episode again tonight on my DVR cuz I was exhausted before. But just a few notes of what I enjoyed:
* The Walker's in a glass house! I knew something was bound to break! Loved Kevin and Scotty before the family arrived, as Kevin attempted to Walker-proof the house.
*Justin and Rebecca - I'll admit, I wasn't happy at first when I found out Rebecca wasn't a Walker. And I was unsure about how I would feel towards this new relationship of theirs. But they were really sweet last night. I loved that last scene at the end, as Rebecca painted her new place and she told Justin she didn't know what she would do if she lost that family. She doesn't realize how much they love her!
*Paige and Cooper blackmailing Uncle Justin - I en joyed the entire Walker confession scene but loved the part when Justin spilled the beans about Cooper and Paige. That was a really cute scene between all of them
* Nora revealing the new Walker secret to Holly - hahahah I clapped and shouted at that scene. Holly was being such a power hungry biatch, it was great to see Nora finally have the last word! I can't believe she made Nora park in a guest parking spot. Somebody better put that women in her place!!
So those are my comments. What did you think of the season premiere??

This show is one of those that I sort of feel like I make myself watch, but, having watched it, I'm always glad I did.
I don't really feel the Justin and Rebecca thing. It's not as icky as it felt at the last of the season, but I think we all knew it was inevitable.
I can't wait to see Holly get hers. There has to be some way of getting her off her high horse.
I hope Kevin gets the partnership in spite of losing his family account.
The previews look like Ryan Walker is less than classy. So I'm guessing he's not the right guy. I just hope this season doesn't end by finding there is yet another Walker kid out there.

I, too, am SO happy to have this show back again Sunday nights, along with "Desperate Housewives." What an entertaining couple of hours! I've been programmed my whole life to hate Sunday nights, since that meant I had to go back to school or work the next morning and couldn't sleep in & do whatever I wanted. But now it's actually a pleasure with these two fun shows to watch! (Not to mention "Mad Men," but then I've been taping that; amazing these two great shows happen to be on at the same time, isn't it?)
Love Nora, love Sarah, love Justin (God he looks like a good kisser!) ... love the other brothers, and everyone else.
You're so right - that was the Walkers in the proverbial glass house, wasn't it?? Hilarious, and it's amazing they didn't damage more things. (I had to wonder, doesn't Kevin have to pay his company back for all that damage?? Neither he nor his boss mentioned it which I thought was weird. "Your paychecks will be docked until it's all paid for," something like that.)
Speaking of his boss ... I LOVED seeing Mitch Pileggi again!! He was the awesome Assistant Director on "The X-Files" (Mulder and Scully's boss), who I came to love seeing almost as much as the agents. You ought to see him with his shirt off ... he's quite a specimen! Who knows, maybe we will on this wacky show. (I'm also seeing him in ads for a new movie ... that one with Greg Kinnear, about the guy who invented the intermittent windshield wiper and gets his design ripped off by Ford ... Mitch plays the bad guy, either a Ford rep or their counsel. Looks good.)
