Additional Comments: Maybe because it's one of the only shows debuting so late, or maybe because of all the promos ABC has been showing, but I'm really looking forward to this thing.  I'll definitely be watching.

Probably not- Tuesday is NCIS night at my house. All those loud ads pretty much turned me off- they are on like every freaking commerial break!

I am, but if it turns into lame melodrama with unlikeable characters, like FlashFoward, I'm out.

I will watch.  I watched the original back in the 80s.  For us it was 'must see TV' back then.  It was one of those shows that would have made a great 6-8 week mini-series but then they dragged it out into a full season and tried to make another year or so of it.  Think Twin Peaks, or even Heros.

The big reveal on V came as such a shock back then.  I hope they do it justice with the new series.

I want to watch it but my husband just told me that he read in the paper that there will only be 4 episodes.  They won't be on again until April!  I can't remember what happened last week yet they want us to wait 4+ months and recall what happened?  I hate when shows wait a long time to come back but maybe I'll check it out tonight and see if it'll be worth the wait.

  • Four episodes... I hadn't heard that. That's interesting. I guess it will stop right before Thanksgiving. Wow. It doesn't take away any of my interest in the show though. eom Elliott
  • It's on hold for the holidays, then the Olympics (even though they're on another network)./Betty

I'm recording it. I have company for dinner tonight, so I can't watch until later or tomorrow. Unless I make them watch it, too. ;)

  • That'll be better - you can zap thru the ads & re-watch any parts/dialogue you want! -Spell

I will, but I can tell you right now that I'm already tired of the bratty teenage son---and that's after seeing the nearly 3 minute promo on YouTube. Why must TV shows always shove these tiresome cliched characters down our throats?

  • I guess cuz they always want to try & bring in the teenage/younger demographic, right? Yeah, he better be worth watching. I do like his blue, blue eyes. But then I'm a dirty old lady. ;-D -Spell
