Additional Comments: I am not even sure if there is anyone out there that watches it. I went to the CBS board and was shocked to see the conversations and arguments happening over being actually swingers. Conversations I did not feel comfortable replying to or even reading for that matter.
Anyone up to discuss what's going on with the show?

Message: I wasn't too sure I'd keep watching but after the second episode I was hooked...I was thinking how funny it is that the only decent person is the teacher wanting to date the daughter...

Message: I think eventually Janet will fall into the sheets with Trina's husband..(forgot name); Susan and janet's husband will end up there too, and now that Bruce has cheated...who knows where he goes. Anyone remember Janet's daydream?
I don't think the professor will take the faculty job that was his "dream job" offered because of Susan's daughter. If he does and he continues to see her, there will be a huge scandal.
I wonder where the blonde neighbor and her daughter have gone.

Hey thanks to Dot down below for the link to watch the full lepisode. Now I'm caught up. That was a great episode. Soooo, did Bruce sleep with the protege runner from work? It sorta seems so to me.
It's been slowly building, this rather sweet but unspoken attraction between Susan and Janet's husband Roger. I loved the final scene where Susan is sitting alone in the middle of the night in front of the A/C that Roger fixed, with her eyes closed, clearly remembering Roger's one touch on her shoulder that afternoon. That scene of her remembering was subtle and beautifully filmed, and I found it to be a rather lovely, erotic moment.
I'm glad that Janet was understanding of Roger when he came clean to her about his need to do something else besides sell insurance. Hmmm, that photo of Roger and Susan at the pool party that Trina took will surely come back to bite everybody though.
This show has really grown on me. Very fun summer soap opera. The lead female characters in particular are interesting, I even like the budding romance between the Laurie and the young teacher, of course, now that summer school is over he is not her teacher. I presume, she is going to be back in high school in the fall, and that is his conflict with taking the permanent job there?

Message: I watched it last night for the first time and found it incredibly boring. The dialogue is silly at times, like when Grant turned around and told the guy to *keep on keepin' on*--really lame and awkward. I won't watch it again.

Message: I lived through the 70's & it was difficult enough the first time around. I don't see any sense of responsibility here. I keep seeing all this casual sex, but no repercussions. Is the follow up going to be a mini-series about AIDS and HIV? This is exactly the kind of behavior that created the epidemic that became known in the 80's.
Personally, I don't find any aspect of Swingtown entertaining.
