The new Old Spice ad with the gorgeous young black man riding a white horse on the beach caught my attention right away - very nice to look at! - and then completely cracked me up as he repeated "look at this, then look back at me - look at that, then back at me ... " Hilarious. Makes fun of other sexy commercials which can be so ridiculous.

But tonight, I think during "Idol," they showed a second one with the dear boy, which wasn't as funny, darn it. They could show that first one every night for a year and I'd be happy! But to try and expand on this good thing ... not working, for me anyway.

Yep, love the horse one too. Sometimes writers don't get it. They over do. Just like the Geico commercials, used to be more funny.

Spelling, sorry this is not about the ad, but have you seen CynthiaW around any of the boards? I have not seen her around in awhile, and she usually loves mocking on The Bachelor with me, so I was curious if she is frequenting one of the other boards here.

Now that you mention it no, I haven't seen her in a long time. Maybe you'll need to post a topic specifically addressed to her; last I recall she just scanned our site these days, spending most of her energies elsewhere. The nerve! ;-D -Spell

CynthiaW was banned a few months ago. She went on a rant on a PT board, calling people bad names and was very insulting. It got ugly! Roxie

Thought the same thing. I love that commercial ("I am on a horse" cracks me up) but there was a bit of overkill on Idol last night!
