They do the short seasons on HBO, Showtime TV. but not on shows with Advertisers! I don't get it.
Though it was done very well, I did not like last Sunday show. It was very sad, bc Don seems to really care for that woman. I was upset on what he is doing to Betty. Do you think she will find out and turn to the Gov. Assit. guy? I keep thinking Betty will get cancer since she smokes so much. But people did not think of that then.
Well I noticed this season it is more on the story of Don and Betty and not so much of the others in the office.
Well rats!!
I knew that teacher was going to be a problem for Don. She doesn't seem to understand that her job as a mistress is to be undemanding. Don is not "with her." He's doing here. Period.
Poor Peggy, so good at her job and so threatening to all those men. Good for her.
I knew when the phone rang at the Draper residence that both Betty and Don had reason to worry. Was it the man Betty is teasing or the woman Don's screwing? It's pathetic how each of them had to worry.
I was dying to see Bets confront Don about his divorce and his other life. I wonder now if she'll ever do it. It's obvious Mrs. Draper is very good at suppressing her feelings. She may figure as pissed as she is there's nothing to be gained by a confrontation. Or she may beat him over the head with it when he least expects it.
Pete was just gross. Jazz, liquor and his right hand. Although I did appreciate when he told Don he hadn't written down his idea that Don said "I hate when that happens." It happens to everyone.
This really is the best show on television.
I cannot believe Lois is still working at SC.
I don't know that Betty's pieced it all together but she we know she saw Don's divorce decree from Anna, Don's dog tags, Dick's dog tags, someone's honorable discharge paperwork and then childhood pictures of Don where he's identified as Dick. I liked the way that they had Betty find out about Don's secret identity. It is so much more realistic than any of the more dramatic scenarios that other shows would adopt.
Oh Don, I do love you, but HATE him and the teacher storyline. Giving the brother his card was sure a mistake.
I noticed that Paul takes the "Are you a Jackie or a Marilyn?" ad out of his desk. Then a big cloth napkin or hanky that seemed to be kept special for cleanup purposes. I was grossed out because he was doing it in a public place, Peggy was still in the building (I think she left as he was doing it) and then after, he shook Achilles' hand with what I'm assuming was the hand he used for the activity.
I liked the Peggy/Paul storyline, and how Peggy is continually able to be smart and efficient without becoming the stereotypical woman in the workplace, even if that's all how they see her at first (especially Paul).
I want to see more of the going ons at Sterling Cooper. More Peggy and Pete! I want to find out about Peggy and Duck. I think Duck is going to buy SC.
Unpopular Opinion, but I do not miss Joan, but I want Sal back.

One has to wonder, since she was planning on confronting him, what might have happened if he came home. Then she quietly put it all back. Guess all that waiting gave her ideas.
Should lead to a fabulous season ending.
