The top 10 include only 2 GIRLS!! What's up with that?? And, only ONE of the girls is good.
Here's my list for now~

I've watched every season and this is the first time that it's ''boys night'' and so few have talent. Sass is looking better, though, and the judges actually have something between their ears and can make helpful statements.
Last night I liked (not loved) MOOKIE AND EARL. The rest were a big bore or hurt my ears. What was up with that motorcycle gimmick. Give me a break. It didn't help his singing one iota. I don't think I'm going to like this season.
I am usually a big fan of Canadian Idol; however, I am not really loving this season. I don't mind the fact that the producers decided to do away with the boy vs the girls thing. I figure that if there are more guys that are talented that a lop sided top ten is OK. The only reason that I continue to watch the show is because I record it on my DVR and do a lot of fast forwarding. Here are my opinions so far:
Mark - I really have a hard time watching the guy. When he tries to be hip and sexy it just makes me really uncomfortable. I think he just might stay in the competition for several weeks due to the fact that Nfld really seems to get behind their contestants. Most of the Nfld people have done quite well.
Mitch - not the best singer but seems to be a likeable guy
Mookie - I like some of his performances. I guess it is just his personality but he just strikes me as a guy that really does not want to be there.
Sebastian - I thought his brother was more talented and was sad to see that only one of the Pigotts made it to top ten. I think if he wants to stay in the competition he has to step it up.
Earl - I really like Earl ( mainly because he is the spittin image of my husband's nephew).
Katherine - I can't for the life of me see why the judges are so in love with this girl. I do not like her singing at all. Maybe she will start to impress me, but for now I would like to see her gone.
Theo - glad to see that he got that sweating thing under control. I think he is very talented and when he chooses the right song he is great.
Drew - OK - not great - just OK
Amberley - I really like her voice. She has had some really good performances. She is another one that really needs to make sure that she chooses the right song.
Ben Mulrooney - needs to stop acting like a wierdo. Some of his comments and actions are just so strange that I have a hard time watching him.
Anyway, that is my take on the show so far.
