Passions Discussion Group
I can't watch Passions 'cuz I don't have DirecTV, but I do read the weekly summaries still printed in SOD to kind of follow the show. And yes - it's totally deranged now, IMO.
But, of course, whenever a soap opera ends, it's interesting to see how it comes to a close - especially THIS one. ..LOL!!
And, one thing I've been very curious about is what they're going to do with Sheridan, since it doesn't look like there's any way she and Luis are getting back together, and, of course, their ''supercouple status'' originally dominated so much of the action in the early years. So I guess that's done? What do you think?
Anyway, long story short. I think I just got my answer in that it's been revealed by TVGuide Canada that Christopher Douglas who played older brother Antonio Lopez-Fitzgerald was back to make appearances in the final week(s) of taping - so I'm ASSUMING that somehow they're going back to the story that Sheridan and Antonio are somehow ''soulmates in time'' and belong together - either in a past time - the present - or some future time.
The spoiler did not say if Antonio is still dead - but hey, it's Passions! Is anyone really dead?!
P.S. I hesitate posting here - the board never moves - it's like the post is gonna stay here FOREVER ... LOL!

Thanks for posting this. I too read the summeries in SOD and I'm wondering how the show is gonna end. I read that Antonio is coming back and sorry I'll miss it. I did find a website, a link off the NBC Passions site, that showed a few clips of things we've missed.
I watched the show from the very beginning until it went to Direct TV, but I knew hubby wouldn't wanna switch back because we both were unsatisified with Direct Tv and stayed w/ cable.
There's too many loose ends we will never know. Esp. the whole secret about Chad, I mean, I know he's Alistair's kid (who killed him) and Liz, but what was the whole Orville/Krystle thing in the beginning? It just didn't connect. I thought everyone would be killed or the whole town blow up at the end, but then see Theresa stirring from her death and calling out for Ethan. JMO. LOL Keep us informed. vicci

I'm still watching Passions on Directv. It last airs August 11th. And, yes....it's even more so out of this world! Theresa & Ethan are STILL not together. There's a completely deranged woman out to kill the entire Lopez-Fitzgerald family. Julian was nearly completely castrated. Vincent is an absolute / complete loon and has a partner in crime (a supposed teenage) serial killer. Oh yeah, Vincent got pregnant by Julian (his father....) and had a baby boy! Sounds completely over the top but....This is Passions.
I am curious to see how they pull all the loose ends together, and how the show ends. And, yes supposedly Antonio is back. He supposedly shows up at the triple wedding ceremonies.
