Topic: Passions supposedly on through August 2008

I saw online somewhere that Passions would be on DirectTV through next summer.  After I heard about the newest cancellation, later I heard about how DirectTV wasn't doing so well financially, and that they had not acquired the large number of subscribers they anticipated when the show changed from NBC.  I know DirectTV advertised heavily via Passions characters before it moved.  I think the ads were even in Endora's thought-balloons.

I do not have DirectTV, but have regular cable.  We just got SoapNet, which I thought we would never get.  This makes me think that somehow our cable company might get Passions for us before next fall.  I have not seen Passions since August 2007.  It is much more exciting than Days of Our Lives, which I still watch but miss Passions dearly.  I miss Tabitha, and I heard Edna and Norma did not make it to DirectTV.  Maybe Tabitha's magic will enable me to see Passions again soon.

Yes, I read the show will be on through August.  Basically, a year after it was cancelled by NBC.
