Subject: The houses are out there but not common yet. I'd love to be off the grid completely. Eons ago in college we toured some energy efficient homes. It was amazing what can be done with a little ingenuity. They even had a waterfall indoors to help cool the air during summer. The one thing I'd LOVE to have is something we saw on tour a few years ago. It's a heat exchange with the Earth and that's what provided the heat for the building. The Jetson's gizmos, at least some of them, crossed my mind too. /JoEllen
