Subject: I really haven't noticed much difference in the taste of the coffee, but it almost seems like instant after having a Mr. Coffee with how fast it brews. Love it! My good friend here is wanting a Dyson vacuum in a big way. They just sold some property so I'm betting her hubby will succumb to her begging. LOL She has never worked and for some reason allowed him ALL the decision-making power in their marriage. That'd drive me nuts! She'll say, ''Ralph (not his name) won't let me do that.'' Ralph Schmalf! I told her she needed to grow a set. Heh Gail

Subject: That's sad when a woman thinks/lets her husband has to make all the decisions. Maybe he's a control freak. I like my husband being the husband but hey we're also friends & partners...We do have a rule that if you want to buy anything over a $100 we need to discuss it. That was after he came home in a truck when I thought he was going to get a leaf blower!! He got caught up in the moment (he was w/his friend Kevin) He already had gotten a brand new truck the year before and this one was 2 yrs. older!! He said yes...but it's more of a truck!! The payment & ins. is more too...I told him he deserves to have the truck he wants but He better be whistling every time he writes out the monthly check & the ins/registration!! He does love it...and he works hard.But now we have a RULE!! ' ) TDQ

Subject: We've always had the rule on big purchases. The coffee maker was a big purchase in my book, BUT thanks to all of my medical bills we came out really good on taxes so could afford it. And Ralph is a complete control freak! I could tell ya stories that'd curl your hair. Gail
