Subject: My older daughter's first name is very unusual so we gave her a very common middle name and thank goodness for that. She's in her 30s now and still gives me the evil eye and says, ''I can't believe you'd name me that.'' It's a pretty name! I like Gretchen too, but you needed a middle name. :) bink
