They just interviewed the man on the news.
The flight attendant was off duty and had agreed to fly sitting on the jump seat from San Diego to New York. She had given up her seat for this passenger.
Sometime into the flight she changed her mind. She wanted her seat back and that's when the pilot told the passenger to sit in the bathroom. He told the man that he was in total control of the flight and plane and the the man should be grateful that he was even onboard the flight.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
Passengers are told to keep their seatbelts fastened even if the light is not on for safety just in case the flight hits turbulance or an unexpected air pocket.
The passenger said that he did not feel safe in the bathroom and that he suffered humiliation. (wouldn't you?)
