Same old argument here at my house. Does the toilet paper and paper towels go OVER or UNDER. I say it goes OVER and my husband inveriably puts it under - on the RARE instances when he changes the roll.
What do you say - Over or Under????????????????

OVER! Always always always, Over! I hate when it is under. I have even gone so far as to change the roll to over, because under bugs me that much. :-D

Message: The TP and P. Towels must always be OVER! You have to go searching for it when it is under.

I grew up with it under but ours is OVER.
The resident engineer claims when it's over you always know where the start of the roll is and it's ready to grab.
I remember back on one of the sitcoms where Bea Arthur was discussing the difference between over & under with her housekeeper. Funny.

Message: Around here, we're lucky if it gets ON the holder so it really doesn't matter although I prefer it OVER.

Message: I'm like the only person in the world to whom it makes no difference. Odie seems to change the roll most often, he usually makes it under, if under means the paper comes from the bottom.

Message: This topic comes up at least once a year! We all know that it is OVER the top, and even my husband has to have it that way, so there is never an issue about that in this house, unless I 'accidentally' put it on wrong, and then I hear about it!
