Thank you everyone for my birthday wishes. It was wonderful to read them all.

I didn't know how I would feel "crossing over to the dark side" But heck it wasn't too bad at all ...... and as I said to Doopy I really don't look a day over 39 anyway!! ;-)))))

Sophie had bought me a bottle of Moet so I enjoyed that before dinner and we went out to a lovely restaurant for a beautiful meal too.

This Saturday night is my official birthday bash. Have got about 50 people coming over for a party and drinks and fun so I'm really looking forward to that.

Thank you all again for the wishes. It really is a highlight coming in here and getting a special birthday post.

FIFTY?!?!? Here I thought I was really doing something last summer when we had 26 family members. It was worth all of the fuss and I'm sure your party will be too. Wish we could all come too!
