Additional Comments: I used to do pilates about 3 times a week before I got pregnant with my son. Since I had him, I've had back problems and now I have a herniated disk. My dr recommended that I start doing pilates again, but to start off slow. I was wondering if anyone here does it and if you could recommend a DVD. I used to do Winsor Pilates, but I can't seem to find the DVD's online anywhere. Thanks in advance!

Message: I've always wanted to try Pilates...but never thought about a DVD! Great idea. I'd rather look like a fool in the privacy of my own home, then look "experienced" in a class! Thanks for posting...can't wait to try a DVD! ~AngelVine~
I order workout DVD's quite a bit from Amazon, and I really like the ones by instructor Lara Hudson. The one I do all the time is called 10 Minute Solution Pilates. It has five 10-minute sections (one for Abs, for Buns & Thighs, Sculpting Pilates, Pilates Burn, and Flexibility). It's great for beginners, but she also includes modifications for the more advanced.
It feels so good, and it's a great workout - yet relaxing - all at the same time.
Here's their site: winsor pilates (fyi, there is sound on this site)
They have all different sales going on. Make sure to differentiate between tape (they still got 'em) and DVD. If it appears to be pricey (even with the sale it can be) you can find tapes or DVDs on ebay.
