My nephew is having trouble with his memory card for his digital camera & I was wondering if someone here might have an idea on what he could do to fix it. He said he can see the pictures on the camera when he uses the review button but when he tries to add the pictures on to the computer it will not add them. He has asked someone at Walmart & that person told him he thinks there is somethine wrong with the memory card. He is so disappointed that he might not be able to get the pictures printed & we are keeping our fingers crossed that someone may have an idea on what to try. Has anyone ever had trouble with their card before, or if you have any ideas on what we could try, I sure would appreciate any help on this. Thanks so much in advance.

Jenny already gave great suggestions.
I just wanted to add that with my Cannon, it has one of the newer SD cards that my computer won't recognize even though it fits into the SD slot. So I either have to use a seperate card reader or I connect my camera to the computer. If I connect the camera, then the camera not only needs to be turned on but it has to be in the view picture mode. I panicked once when I had accidently left it in the photo taking mode and my computer wasn't recognizing the camera.
I'd be willing to bet that if your son is seeing the photos on his camera then there is nothing wrong with the memory card itself.
A couple of thoughts...
He doesn't have to "add" them to the computer. Just stick in the stick and go to "My Computer" and find the "removeable disk" drive that has the stick in it. This computer has about 6 slots for removeable disks, so KEEP looking. He might not be accessing the right drive. Then find the pictures he wants and print or save them, whatever.
Go to the drugstore or Walgreens, wherever they have a picture maker machine and do it there.
I guess if all else fails, take it to a real camera shop and see what they have to say.
Or you could mail me the stick and I could see if I can get anything.
Good luck, I know how disappointing it is to not be able to print pictures.
