At least I think it's funny. But then again, I have a strange sense of humor sometimes!
I've been seeing a psychologist weekly for the past year.
During our session this morning, as I was talking, I noticed his eyes suddenly closed! and then jerked open again.
"Did you just fall asleep?" I asked.
"Yes, I did. I am very sorry" he told me.
I just burst out laughing. I told him he's lucky this happened to me cuz anyone else would probably be crushed! He then apologized profusely and said it was unacceptable. To be fair, he just got back from a week long vacation, and is probably just getting used to the routine again. And listening to me ramble on and on can be boring!
If that had happened to you, would you have thought it funny like me? If not, how would you feel? How would you have reacted?

It did happen to me. I should have said what you did ... "Are you awake''. He sort of drifted off the same way but caught himself.
Neither one of us mentioned it.
Had I been who I am today I would have said ''OMG this is really serious! I have the same affect on my husband and now you too!"

OMgosh, that would have made me worry that I'd bored him.
I think I'd have asked him if he was going to charge me the full amount for the session. But yes, I think it's funny and I'm glad you had a sense of humor about it.

Hmmm like you I would have thought it hilarious BUT I might ask for a discount on my hour. (lol).
