are in your town or city where you live?
I live in a small city. We have 2 and they are less than 50 yards apart.

Thanks for your replies. It was the best way for me to get an idea of how "busy" your area is. Never thought of Jenny actually in a big city and thought mags live closer to a city.
If you'd like to see where I live...

It takes about a minute and a half to cross the bridge, then my town starts. If you watch until 4 mins, that's the residential area. That's near where I live.
In the first 4 mins, those are the streets I travel every time I go out.
If you're interested, enjoy the journey.

This little town where Karen was born, had three traffic lights when I moved here in 1971, but in the past few years has added a fourth light. All four are in a row up town and you can not get through those 4 blocks in either direction without getting caught by a light.
Bellevue is the 5th largest city in Washington, at least by the 2000 census. I wouldn't be surprised if it upped a notch.

I have no idea how many lights are around, I just know that I hit every one of them!
There are 120,000 people in an area 31 square miles. I'd say we're "dense." LOL
I think there are around 15. Five are on our side of town.
In my city of about 52,000 people there are 71 traffic lights...I went to the city web site for this info.
When we moved here there was one in our little town. Actually it was the only one in the whole county.
Now our town has 4! I don't get to the southern end of the county very much so I'm not sure if the other two little towns got stop lights or not.
The scenery around here is gorgeous but what these towns offer is pretty bad.
