It's a century and counting for the Chicago Cubs. Manny Ramirez and the Los Angeles Dodgers shoved Chicago into another long winter Saturday night, completing a three-game sweep of their first-round playoff series with a 3-1 victory.

Besides the curse of the man with the goat and Steve Bartman don't you think it's time for a new ballpark? Wrigley isn't cutting it.

Message: So sad. I really thought this would be the year, afterall, they played great baseball during the regular season. But, then, we know how it historically goes. I watched/listened 'til the end...so sad.

I'm sorry. I couldn't sleep. I got up and saw the last half of the ninth.
I was really rooting for the Cubs, being a Red Sox fan. It was your turn. We lost Manny, but I think everyone is happy with that. Well, everyone except the Cubs fans.
Let's hope next year is a good one for you. I lived with, "Maybe next year" all of my life until '05 (I think).

Message: Being a long suffering Cubs fan, I wasn't surprised, but I'm keeping the dream alive in my heart. :-) I only watched about 4 innings last night because I was already behind on sleep and had to get up early this morning. NEXT YEAR!
