Awwwwwwwwww. Weep away. It means you actually FEEL!!!!
My sister who lives in Manhattan is an avid birder. She is extra excited about the parent red-tail hawks and their 3 babies. She's also excited about the robins nest on the ground of her apt. She's taken many pictures of all the birds she sees. Even pictures of the mommy robin removing the babies fetal sacks from their nest.

It must have been awesome watching them head to their home, yet sad seeing them leave.
My ducks have come back...I saw them today and took a few pics. Mrs. Mallard was settling in...all cozy on the edging stones. After taking a few pics from the bathroom window I tried the deck, but they heard me open the door and flew off...it was so cool but I wasn't able to catch the flight with the camera. So, I wonder if they'll be nesting here.
Watching the animals in the wild is such fun. My daughter told me today that my yard is turning into a nature park. lol.

They grow up so fast!
We've got neighbors that have some ducks come up twice a day for their dried corn dinner. They even eat out of your hand if you're patient. I have pictures of that.
One that comes up the hill from the lake is a wood duck. Poor thing has something wrong with one of it's legs. He(she?) lays down to eat. It's a beautiful bird though.
I love to sit on this couple's porch and last time I remembered my camera. They have so many feeders out that the birds flock to their house. They are waiting for the hummingbirds but it's a little early.

I have something similar I can share. As I lay here right now typing on the laptop, my feet are right next to the wall. About 4 feet away from my feet, outside in the bush is a Robin's nest with 4 freshly hatched baby birds. I can't wait until I can lay here and listen to them chirp.
