Additional Comments:

How were this weeks shows that you were waiting for

Office - Did you like the proposal?  Lucy hated it - I liked it.  The backroom romance - OH MY.  Why wasn't the scale going down?  Rice-a-Ronni - LOL

The biggest Loser - I hate the brown team - the brown team must go.  Did you see her pumping her arm when people were not losing causing her team to move farther away from the yellow line?  How RUDE.

And his intimdating those that wanted to vote differently that he was.  GO BROWN TEAM GO.  I no longer care that their kids are chubby.

Lipstick Jungle - So looking forward to it.  I ran home to my TIVO and there was a show I watched on the internet last week.  arrrrrrggggggg.

Project Runway - PLEASE send Kenley home.  She is a winner....I hate her laugh....her talking though her nose - the way she thinks that she works harder than anyone else - her 80's clothes.

How did your week in television go?

Wow.  I watch no TV and it feels like I'm always watching TV.

The season premiere of DWTS was painful.  I enjoy the show but 3 nights was too many and there were way too many dancers.

I liked Survivor.  Didn't need two hours, but again, it seemed like they started with a ton of people and had to get rid of some.  I was happy with who went home.  Can you imagine trying to sleep and hearing an elephant outside??

My husband and I decided to quit Grey's Anatomy.  It just is too whiny now.  I didn't want to see another season of that and frankly the actress who plays Izzie is on my last nerve.

I'm loving Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

I'm really looking forward to Desperate Housewives tomorrow.

I'm counting the minutes until Pushing Daisies on Wednesday!

Biggest Loser - I am not liking the brown peeps at all either. Dood looks like he wears eye liner, for one thing. I hated it when he was trying to bully the other voters. Arse.

Survivor - boy, that one team is a bunch of duds, isn't it? I thought the gold medalist would be a fun one to watch, but so far she hasn't done much. And what is with the guys in suits out there? Odd. I don't know why anyone would show up in anything but casual clothes/tennis shoes for a show like that. You never know if you'll get dropped off a boat or out of the sky to start the game.

I have recorded Ugly Betty and Grey's, missed ER but thought I'd watch online. I'm anxious for Amazing Race and Desparate Housewives on Sunday.

  • I am catching Survivor online - I hope. I forgot to tape it..... I am sure loving my DVR recorder - I dont have Tivo - I just like the sounds of it better - Weez
  • We got DVR this summer and LOVE it. Didn't think we needed it until we used it at Brian & Kristi's. It's the bomb! - Doopy
  • Hey, Weez, I sent you an email with a sneak peek of Survivor. I missed it, but found on a board where Marcus, running in his undies, flashed the viewers through his boxer briefs at the beginning of the boulder/key challenge. It missed the edit... So, Weezy, enjoy the show... - Doopy

I always enjoy HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, and this episode didn't disappoint.

LIPSTICK JUNGLE was the usual fluff. I usually just record it and watch it when I'm bored over the weekend, which I'll continue to do.

I love the way UGLY BETTY is taking advantage of shooting in NYC now.

I can't wait for PUSHING DAISIES.

  • ugh! I missed How I met Your Mother! What happened? (sugarbee)
  • It was mostly about Barney exploring his feelings for Robin and Marshall needing to find another job....Blinkie
  • It looks like the episode is on cbs.com...Blinkie
  • I like that show....but, HIMYM show - since they are both 1/2 hour to 2 1/2 men - which was/is funny , I will nevever watch that show again. I lost all respect for Charlie Sheen during his divorce...yeah yeah she's a loon - BUT, there is not an excuse to say and do that to his children's mother. I have not watched it once since, I was so revolted. Weez

I watched The Office, was not crazy about the proposal either....but then again, they are not your ''traditional'' characters, either, LOL

I also watched ER, was sad to see Pratt die  :o(  I am sad it's the last season, too.

  • I just love those two together. I can hardly watch Michael sometimes for he is such an embarrassment to himself - Weez

The Biggest Loser is way too long imo.   I FFed through a lot of it.    I always make sure to watch the weigh-off and see who leaves and their progress.   That's my favorite part of the show.   After this many seasons of it, I'm bored watching them work out.

Survivor I always enjoy and wish it had been an hour longer.    I never tire of it.   I'm glad they had the people do a little intro of themselves.   That helped me some in remembering them.

The DWTS marathon was WAAAAAAAY too long, but I enjoyed the second night of dancing anyway.    I usually FF the show where they kick someone off except to watch the pros dance.   All in all I think it'll be another good season.

  • I am with you sister on the two hour shows this week. NOt ever going to sit through one of those. I also totally agree with watching the exercising - same exercise, different year - EXCEPT, I think Jillian and Bob are M _E_A N this year. Why do we have to talk to people like that? Lucy has never seen the biggest loser - so, she is hooked to every second - I would be zipping through much of sweating scenes. Weezer

My son Steve refers to my condo as CNN Central as I have TVs in every room. One is on DirecTV, another with the HDTV box on antenna, two with rabbit ears and one with a wireless transmitter so I can watch DirecTV in the bedroom.

I taped Biggest Loser and NCIS and the Mentalist, tried to keep track of Fringe and DWTS. Gave up on Fringe and will watch on my computer on Hulu and decided to wait for WE's coverage of DWTS.

Glad NCIS is back on track.

Have watched the previous Fringe shows--really like it--so X-files.

    Mentalist--Psych is better.

Biggest Loser--agree about the Brown Team--can't stand them. Glad the Yellows got to stay--the Dad really needs the hands-on help for his health.

    ER--Sorry to see Pratt go.

Grey's Anatomy--Love the new Doc and his McGyver-type medical treatments. Hope he is a regular for Sandra Oh's character. Question for Jenny--does it snow this early in Seattle????

Project Runway--Shove Kenlee's flower in her mouth and shut her up already!
Dancing with the Stars--Too much of a good thing. Don't they know less is more? Less stars--less nights.

  • I like the new doc, TOO. The icicle business was a little OUT THERE (lol) but he's really good. I read he was brought on as her love interest. Don't know what that means since he's still on active duty. Guess he'll return soon OR something will happen to delay/detain him. He has an offer of work!! eom/WE
  • I've lived in the Seattle area for more than 40 years and have never seen it snow this early. Thank goodness. Dottie
  • I am so tickled to have another Project Runway watcher here. I don't watch Grey's Anatomy. I am happy you told me about the Mentalist - I am trying not to watch new shows this year - waiting for the weeding - Weezer

I loved Biggest Loser and, like you, I do not like the brown team.  I was so happy to see the yellow team stay.  The gray guys were nice enough, but the father on the yellow team really needs to stay and lose some of that killer weight.  Poor Colleen, the yellow daughter, having to do all that sliding and running up the hill all by herself.  I thought she would have lost a lot more weight.

I loved Grey's Anatomy too.  I will be glad when all of the two hour shots are overwith.  Just too long.  All they do is drag it out more and have a lot more commercials.

Also loved Survivor.  They have some really different people on there this time.  It's always the old ones that are eliminated first.  Michelle was a trouble maker and I'm glad she's gone.  I think that Jillian was just too bossy, but I liked her.  Someone has to take charge.

All in all, it was a good week.  Now if they can get Cloris Leachman off of DWTS, I will be a happy camper.  She is an embarrassment.

    Dottie

  • The two hour episodes are too long with so many shows coming back at the same time. Five hours of DWTS and then 2 hour premiers? Since I'll be away next week I'm not even taping a full week of AMC. Not enough hours in the day to catch up when I return. eom/WE
  • I am rooting for the yellow team because they are the homies. I really like the yellow girl. Don't you think Bob and Jillian are especially mean this year? Weez
  • I think Bob and Jillian are vicious this year. I'd like to clobber both of them. Don't think I could take them screaming in my face. Dottie

I also dislike the brown team. Did you see her husband tell her to clap (I think it was at that water sliding challenge)? Everybody was clapping and being supportive to the losing teams and her husband whispered to her 'clap' so that it would APPEAR that they were being supportive. I can't stand her or her A-hole husband. Don't have a favorite team yet.

Project Runway - Kinley needs to go. I can't stand to listen to her ''but I worked so hard'' like the others just sat around sipping coffee and chit chatting while she was pouring blood, sweat and tears into her ''oh another 50's inspired dress''. She's a legend in her own mind.

  • I did hear her husband tell her to clap. She is the biggest baby I've ever seen. Isn't she the one that cried all the time to talk to her father? I may have her mixed up with another one. The woman named Heba is the one I don't like. Dottie
  • Now they are both college graduates - He is a pharmacist and she is an anethetist - you would think they would be more mature. Am I the only one thought there was a romance between grey boy and yellow girl? Weez

Well, I taped more than I watched.

Are you still watching Heroes? I taped it. I also taped The Office. Glad to hear he proposed.

I hadn't noticed the brown team woman pumping her arm. The husband's reaction re: who to vote off made me squirm. He seems quite volitile and she knows it. I'm glad the yellow team stayed, although that was a stupid bet. My Boston boys are gone, but they appear to be doing well.

I enjoyed the two hours of Survivor. I didn't think I would. Better chance to see who the people are.

Plus, I was trying to watch the Sox beat the Indians. Sorry.

Had to skip the first hour of Grey's and taped the second. Too much on in one night. Plenty of time tonight to catch up on the tapes.

  • Are you kidding - the tribe has intentionally made themselves be so bad - I was almost rooting for Boston. The Grey Boston Boys - I enjoyed them. I am thinking there might have been a little romance going on between yellow girl and grey boy. I was getting already to watch that when they both ended up on the block - humph!!! You do know the yellow team is from Cleveland, right? So it's a win win - you get to go to the World Serious and We get to get weighed again next week. OMG - I never ever considered that I would be ruining your favorite show by giving a spoiler - I am so so sorry. I should have put a warning in there. I can not believe you did not watch it live, you have been looking forward to this for months - Weez
  • We have a long way to go before we find out if we'll be in the World Series. It doesn't look good, but it's okay. It's someone else's turn. I always tape The Office. I don't want to miss a line and I want the chance to rewind. I din't know yellow was from Cleveland. I like them. I didn't notice the showmance starting. (Charl)
  • I forgot.. I'm glad to hear he proposed. I was afraid that with her going to NY for 3 months that things might get complicated. (Charl)
