When you email someone, do you sign it?
I rarely do. My name is in the box of the email, so the person knows who sent it.
The only time I do is when it seems the polite thing, like someone I rarely email.
What about you? Do you sign off?

Usually I do. If it is just a short note or a reply to someone, sometimes I won't. If it's a board person I sign it Gail/Real Name as I'm sure you have seen. And if it is Jan, Doopy or my BFF, I sometimes just sign ''me.'' An aunt of mine used to do that whenever she wrote to Momma, so I guess I took a page out of her book in my old age.

I almost always sign off. If I am emailing back and forth with someone, after 5 or 6 times maybe I'll not do it, but that is not often at all. But if I am BCC'ing a lot of people like when sending out a good joke or story, some of the people may not know me as Rusty, and others may not know Don. Those emails may go unsigned.

Message: If I'm the one originating the email, I sign it. If I'm just replying, I don't always. I sign with so many different names, I have to think about it. LOL. I usually sign Blink, but I have one email buddy that calls me Sis, my niece calls me AM (for Auntie M......), and then there's my real name that I rarely use.
