I'm up late and I thought I would do something constructive.  I hate being wound up, as my mom would say.  Don't expect me to answer your responses soon because I'm on a strict computer diet in my office.  Don't want to give them an idea that I goof off.

Yes or No and then ELABORATE.  Please.  I'll enjoy reading these later.

1.  Do you like "Monk?"

Yes, but I liked--Sharona? (the New York/New Jersey accented actress better than the current assistant (more attitude).

2.  How about "House?"

<3  <3  <3!!

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)?

Yes, lots.  Ice cream is okay, but I can't remember the last time I ate it.

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure?

No, I'd like to when I can spend the extra $$.

5.  Are you directionally challenged?

Sigh.  Yes, somewhat, unfortunately.

6.  Do you floss every night?

No, in the morning, usually.

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners?

Not really.  I have one silk shirt that should go, but I'm lazy and afraid I'll ruin it handwashing.

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day?

Sure, why not?

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

No.

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much?

No, probably not enough.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow?

Well, the lake is not frozen and the rink isn't open, so prob not.

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light?

No, but I can't really take credit.

1.  Do you like "Monk?"  I love it!  I only miss it to watch "Medium," which is on CBS now.  I hate that they're opposite each other.  But this is "Monk's" last year.  This isn't really a spoiler, but all you peeps that haven't been watching, Monk is slowly, gradually coming out of his fugue that has paralyzed him since his wife's death (Trudy.)  Supposedly, we will learn the killer of Trudy when they wrap the show.  I will miss it, but reruns are forever!

2.  How about "House?" I love it, too, but for different reasons.  House is the obnoxious, scandalous jerk we'd all LIKE to be sometimes, but have the finesse and courtesy to keep our mouths shut.  House is having an epiphany, too, a la Monk.  He faced his demons and won, even tho he really was wary that he could do it.  He's still brash and offensive, but he's also a bit more tender and not quite as crude.  I can't believe how many of you haven't watched it!

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)? Not many things.  Popcorn is good, but ice cream is more satisfying, in some aspects.  My fave popcorn is the movie popcorn with the really UNhealthy oil. And ice cream, well, vanilla is ok, but anything chocolate is DIVINE!

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure? Once, as a treat with some friends.  We all went together, 4 of us, and rocked the house!  LOL, it was fun.  I'm like Rusty, tho, my feet are ticklish and I had to grit my teeth sometimes.

5.  Are you directionally challenged? Hardly ever.  Sometimes here in the NW, I am.  Must be something to do with being surrounded by so many mountains.  I swear, it gets dark at 430 already.  What's it gonna do in December?

6.  Do you floss every night? I'm getting better.  I'm doing it because I want to keep my teeth.  I have bad genetics and it's a job to keep my teeth and gums healthy.  And I'm not nearly as faithful about having them cleaned as I should be.

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners? I bought a light jacket at Goodwill that needs cleaning.  I thought twice about buying it, but $4 was a steal!  I'll pay more to have it cleaned than that, but I think I can wear it a while before having to repeat clean.

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day? No, I hate it.  I don't even cook that much, it's always at some relative's house.  I wish I could just sleep the entire day.  I know I'm gonna regret feeling this way when I'm old, decrepit and all alone, but I would really like an entire day to MYSELF!  I am very, very grateful and I don't think gratitude is a one-day deal, so I don't feel guilty about that.

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Yes!  I have been buying a little along the way since August or so.  I have 50-60 gifts to buy for tenants, so I have to spread out the cost and I can't wait until the last minute or the good stuff will be gone.

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much? Yeah, but I'm skating thru by the Grace of God, I'm sure.  I try to be careful, but there are so many pitfalls and chances.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow? I'd break my neck or my ankles!  Nope, I'm not up for it.  But there will be a lovely ice skating rink up in the downtown park on the 1st of Dec.!

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light? Not intentionally, but I have done my share.  I drive a lot, so I do miss some.  I ran a light the other day and I didn't even see it until I was under it.  We were so lucky that no other cars were even close to us.  Thank you, Lord!

1.  Do you like "Monk?" No, but only because I've never watched it before. I hear it's good.

2.  How about "House?" Yes! But I rarely watch it nowadays.

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)? Yes. Banana cream pie for starters.

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure? Yes. Loved it!

5.  Are you directionally challenged? No, I don't think so.

6.  Do you floss every night? No, sometimes I miss.

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners? No; rarely go to the cleaners.

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day? Yes! One of my fave holidays.

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? No. We don't exchange gifts for the most part.

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much? No, who would want to be me? I'm poor.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow? No, I don't like winter sports.

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light? Yes, but it wasn't on purpose. I was sidetracked, and ran the light before I realized it! I was so mortified (and scared), but luckily no one was around. whew!

1.  Do you like "Monk?" Yes, I enjoy watching all his quirks.

2.  How about "House?" I have only seen a couple shows, but those I've seen were good.

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)? No. A few come close, but ice cream is the King of the food groups.

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure? No. My feet are far too ticklish to even consider it. It's all I can do to take care of my own feet.

5.  Are you directionally challenged? I have to admit I do sometimes have trouble, but not often. For the most part I can get where I'm going, or tell you which way is north.

6.  Do you floss every night? Again my answer is no. But I have to explain myself here. All my teeth, except one, are crowned and the tops of the tooth are so close to each other that I have an awful time getting floss to pass through. But the base of the teeth have larger gaps between them where foods pack in tightly, so I have special picks I use to clean out my teeth at least twice a day. (Inside Joke at our house = Since I only have one tooth not crowned I am constantly coming out of the bathroom telling Karen ''I brushed my tooth.'')

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners? No

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day? Sometimes I think there is too much fuss over the holliday, but then dinner time rolls around and I sit down to eat a very fine meal...then have great left-overs for the next few days.

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? It's finished.

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much? I don't think of it constantly, but I do believe I am protected from it about as much as a person can be prepared for it.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow? Yes, if I could, I would. I know my body would protest loudly, but I used to be fairly good at ice skating in my late teens. I also did a lot of roller skating back then. That as before the inline skates became popular. I bought a pair of inline skates at a Good Will store so I could use it's wheels to repair my kid's skates, but before I dissassembled them, I had to try them out. I have to say I did very well with them except for getting used to them and trying to take off fast, like on ice skates, there was a wheel on the front instead of the toe picks, and it rolled out from under me pretty fast, making me almost fall. But once I learned, I did pretty well with them. By then I hated to take them apart to use their wheels to replace the wheels of my boy's skate.

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light? OK, you caught me being a little red-faced here. I used to do a lot of driving at night, and / or in very out of the way places. Knowing the area very well, if there were no other cars in sight, I would do a rolling stop at most of them. But there were a few where I would blow right through because you could see a mile each way down the road with no cars in sight. I only do this when I'm alone in the car. Karen would have a fit! This question reminds me of a guy I used to know who believed if you Stopped at a red light, and no cars were coming, it was legal to drive through the red light...as long as you made a complete stop and looked both ways first.

1.  Do you like "Monk?"    Haven't seen it.

2.  How about "House?"    Haven't seen it.

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)?    Lots of things imo.   Popcorn, for one.   Not a huge ice cream fan.   I eat two bites and am good to go.   It gives me brain freeze.   The exception being a banana split.   I LOVE THEM and use a hot coffee chaser to avoid brain freeze!

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure?   One.   JAN got me one for my birthday a few years ago.   She was determined I was going to have one.    I did enjoy it, but I don't like to risk an infection,  so I do my own.   IF I knew for positive I wouldn't get an infection and it didn't cost a lot, I'd get them every 3-4 weeks.

5.  Are you directionally challenged?   Yes.   I usually can tell if I'm going the wrong direction, but I CAN'T tell you if it's n/s/e/w.   :-P

6.  Do you floss every night?    No.   I floss after meals a lot since I have a lot of crowns and the teeth don't fit together as tightly as they usta.   And sometimes I will floss at night before bed if I know I haven't in a couple of days.   And to do a more thorough job.

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners?    One of Terry's suits is at the cleaners.

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day?    Yes.   I love that meal more than any all year.   And I think it is good to set aside a time to give special thanks for all of our blessings.

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?   Not intentionally.   But if I see something during the year I think someone might like, I'll go ahead and get it.    I had all of my Christmas cards bought way early this year.

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much?   Nah.   I'm not too much of a worrier.   I do try to be careful though.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow?   I would love to if my body would cooperate.   The last time I tried to skate on wood, I couldn't.    :-(   I was shocked!

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light?    I've run a stop sign before unintentionally and noticed it, but if I've ever run a red light I didn't know it or it was a total accident.   No wait, one time the light was broken and I finally went through it.   I could have been there all day if I hadn't and there was nothing coming from the other directions.

1. Do you like "Monk?" Yes, but I always forget about it so hardly watch anymore.

2. How about "House?" Yes. I've liked it from day one. To me it has almost reached it's life though. Meaning I wouldn't cry if it was canceled.

3. Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)?Yes but I do love vanilla ice cream when I'm in the mood..... every few nights.

4. Have you ever had a pedicure? Not a real one. I'm too cheap.

5. Are you directionally challenged? Not one single bit. Well, if I'm sleeping and hubby yells out, "which way do I turn?" Then it takes me a few minutes to gain my senses and figure out where we are. He thinks I have a map in my head. :-)

6. Do you floss every night?Yes! Every night and am trying to floss in the mornings too. The hygenist said I need to 'stimulate' my gums more even though I have always flossed nightly. I wasn't doing it hard enough,Go figure.

7. Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners?Nope. I usually don't buy anything that specifically needs dry cleaned. Also I know a few tricks in the garment trade-- they slap a dry clean only label on because it's easier than spelling out directions.

8. Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day?Well, I love the holiday or the idea of what the holiday should be but all the fuss gets old fast. Right now I only do it for the kids.

9. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?I've picked up a few things.

10. Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much?It crosses the mind but not too much. There are far more things rattling around inside the head.

11. Would you go ice skating tomorrow?Yes! I haven't been in years though. Lazy I guess.

12. Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light?I've purposely ran a red light once because I thought a loony road raged guy was behind me.

I finally have 5 minutes to myself!  Fun questions!

1.  Do you like "Monk?" Yes, but I really don't watch much.

2.  How about "House?" Again Yes, but I only see it in re-runs.

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)? Yes, pasta, lobster, Pumpkin anything...

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure? Yes, all the time!

5.  Are you directionally challenged? Yes and no.  It depends.

6.  Do you floss every night? Yes (usually)

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners? No

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day? Yes.  It's probably my favorite holiday.

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Yes.  The daughter's big gift is purchased and in my closet.  I have a bunch of smaller things too for both kids.  I just ordered a bunch of books from Barnes and Noble.  Everyone gets the members price online right now.

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much? No.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow? Yes - if it's what my son chose to do.  It's his birthday, but I'm positive he doesn't want to ice skate!

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light? Yes.  I ran a stop sign several years ago because I didn't see it.  It was behind a tree that was huge and drooping because of a lot of rain.  The cop ticketed me and told me to go to court to fight it so I did and won!

1.  Do you like "Monk?" Yes, but I don't regularly watch.

2.  How about "House?" I've never watched House.

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)? I'd say popcorn, but I hate those hulls getting stuck in my teeth, so I'll have to say, no, there is nothing better to eat than ice cream. I love vanilla ice cream.

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure? Only a home pedicure. And, I only paint my toenails in sandal weather.

5.  Are you directionally challenged? I can follow directions, but if we're talking north, east, south, and west the sun helps keep me focused.

6.  Do you floss every night? Yes, I use waxed floss and floss picks. I hate flossing...gag factor so I only do it once a day...at night. Well, unless there is something caught in my teeth...like those popcorn hulls mentioned in question #3.

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners? No. Since the dress code has relaxed at Jeff's work we hardly use the cleaners anymore.

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day? The fuss that bothers me is all the hype about making Thanksgiving cooking easier...I've never thought it was hard. But, then, I like to cook. And, the last few years I've broken away from the traditional Thankgiving foods, although I prepare some of the usual sides, but differently. I like making the pies and, I make my own crust! It's dang good too...just like the crust my Nana made.

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Yes and no...I've started working on my presentation ideas...most gifts will be money/gift cards. But, I haven't purchased anything yet.

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much? There's times it makes me crazy. I do what I can to stay safe and try not to think too much about it.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow? Yes...if my knees would allow it. I loved ice skating when I was younger and had better knees.

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light? I can't recall doing it...I'm too much of a rule follower to have done it. If I did I'd probably worry about it so much I'd go to the cop shop and report it and they'd all be LOL.

1.  Do you like "Monk?"  yes, I have watched it before and liked it.  But never enough to watch it consistently or even know what channel or day and time it was on.  Don't know why, b/c I do like the show.

2.  How about "House?"  No.  I've never watched it.  Tried to watch one episode out of boredom one night and fell asleep.

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)?   Yes there is.  I'm not fond of ice cream.  I like pickles though.

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure? No. And I never will.  I don't want anyone to touch my feet.  I won't even let hubby touch my feet unless I have socks on.

5.  Are you directionally challenged?  Yes.  I have to really think about it to get my bearings.  My husband is so good at knowing exactly what direction is where.  I think it's a knack.

6.  Do you floss every night?  No, and I know I should.  It grosses me out, it hurts, and it is like running fingernails down a chalkboard just to think about sliding that string between my teeth.  Yuck.

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners?  Yeah, I've had two jackets in the back of my car for about a month.  I don't know what it is about the cleaners, but I hate going.

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day?  No, not at all.  I'd prefer not to have it at all (except I want the day off from work.)

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  I've gotten one or two little things.

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much?  Yes and no.  I've been lucky enough for it not to happen to me, but I do worry about it.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow?  No, I can't ice skate.

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light?  Of course, but I don't make a habit of it.

1.  Do you like "Monk?"  I used to but I stopped watching it after his first assistant left the show.  The second one wasn't bad, I just lost interest plus I didn't know when it was on.

2.  How about "House?"  I've never seen it.

3.  Is anything better than ice cream (to eat!)?  I love ice cream but I'd have to say spaghetti or lasagna is better or mac and cheese - how about just PASTA!

4.  Have you ever had a pedicure?  No, I do my own.

5.  Are you directionally challenged?  Not if you give me landmarks like ''left at the church with the red door, right at McDonalds" etc.  Dont give me street names or route numbers or I will be lost.

6.  Do you floss every night?  No, about 2 times a week.

7.  Do you currently have anything at the cleaners or ready to go to the cleaners?  No.

8.  Do you really like all the fuss about Thanksgiving Day?  Absolutely NOT.  Over the years we've always gone to one of Tom's sister's house.  She works so hard for days, we eat in 20 minutes and then there is all of the cleanup that I try to do the majority of the dishes.  Reservations at a restaurant would be nice!

9.  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  No and we are going to be in Florida this year but our son and his wife are coming down for a week.  It should be different!

10.  Does the thought of "Identity Theft" cross your mind too much?  I don't know if it's ''too much'' but it does cross my mind a lot.

11.  Would you go ice skating tomorrow?  No, my ice skates went out with the stuff in our flooded basement years ago plus I haven't gotten the results of my bone density scan yet!

12.  Have you ever ran a stop sign or a red light?  Not on purpose but I'm sure that I must have run a stop sign accidently somewhere along the way in my years of driving.  I guess I got lucky and no one got hurt.
