Topic: Question for Monday, May 5 *forgetfullness*

Do you remember the class you were enrolled in? After a month, how much more of that new information you learned was forgotten?

After a month, we have forgotten another 10% for a total of 80%. It's a wonder we are able to find our way home at night.

A lot...I think a total, after a month, is 90% because I'm guessing we only retain 10% over time.

But, maybe we don't really forget it...it's just stored deep in the brain's files for later use. Afterall, we shove so much stuff in there it can't possible keep all the info on the surface ready to use. Then, again, what do I know.

From my last answer I only have ....  20%  l left to go!  Lol, are there going to be more questions about this because pretty soon I'm going to totally forget I took the course at all!

My guess for this question is that I will have now forgotten another ... 10% which means I've forgotten ... 90% of what I learned!

This was the last question about the class. Looking back at it, I probably should have combined all three into one question with several answers. Don't worry though, you are real close to the correct answer. FYI, I have skipped a lot of the questions in my book because they just do not seem that interesting. I guess I should have skipped the group of questions about the class and remembering new material. - Rusty

Oh No Rusty! This has been fun doing this series of questions one at a time. I find it very interesting. One of my favorite shows is ''Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader''. I'm amazed at what these kids have to learn today at such an early age. I swear we didn't have some of that stuff until at least middle school and high school. It's also amazing to me that as adults we don't retain all that information that we learned so long ago. No need to skip any questions either. No question would seem uninteresting to me. I really do like having these last fews questions done as a series! eom mags

I will say 80%, assuming they're not over 55.   In which case I'll change that to 99%.   :-Þ
