Hi everyone! I know I know I haven't been around much, but I do lurk daily. Right now we (SO, myself and the kids) are in the process of moving to a bigger place. Ok, they are moving, I'm at work, getting a break from it. :D
Anyways, on to who I met yesterday afternoon! I'm not the biggest country music fan, unless of course it is my Tim McGraw! Anyways, I worked yesterday and got a call from an agent for someone who was performing last night at our towns fair. She didn't give out his real name at first, kept telling me his alias name that we had. Finally at one point in the conversation, she just told me who it was.....and it was Colin Raye. I had heard of him, but still had to go and look up what he sang and everything. lol Anyways, they got here right as my shift was ending. So I stayed around to check them all in. While checking them in, in walked Colin, into the lobby. He actually stood in the lobby and talked to all of us. He walked up to our maint man and was talking to him and the maint man had no idea who he was. lol He is so nice and down to earth.
I just think it is so cool that our somewhat little town had someone famous sing at our fair and then on top of that, he stayed at our motel. lol
I hope everyone is doing well.

Country Music Stars are as loyal to their fans, as their fans are to them!! They seem to truely appreciate their fans. Hope you got a picture!
I have a few of his cds! He's good! You had an ''official star'' sighting. Those are fun aren't they?
He seems like he would be a very nice guy. Not one that would just breeze by with his nose in the air.
Oh WOW, I love Colin Raye. I hope everyone enjoyed the fair.
