Subject: There's been a lot of sloppy, fast and loose writing the past month or so. People are flying back and forth between the U.S. and England at record speed, a lot of time-consuming details about Matthew getting to the hospital and being prepped for surgery are being glossed over, Bo/Nora's reunion happened in just a day or 2 after being in total denial for 8 months, John suddenly realizes Mitch is the mastermind after weeks of chasing Jared... I'm sure there are other examples. RC is too busy trying to make his big sweeps moments that he failed to set them up properly. I didn't catch that bit about Matthew being allowed access to his trust fund to pay for the surgery, but I can see Clint agreeing to foot the bill after learning about Bo/Nora. Clint has completely supported them once they decided against the surgery, and all he gets in return is a divorce. And Clint did find Dr. Evans in the first place. eom
