Subject: Wanda, I do understand the sentiment too, but it still seemed like a flip line to me, along the lines of ''Love means never having to say you're sorry'', but it also had to do with the way the actor who plays Elijah said it, and the fact that in my opinion, there is no finish line to parenting, really, you are a parent for life, except in the soap world where long lost children come out of the blue, and then it becomes all about that relationship. But truth to tell, it probably would not have bothered me so much if I wasn't so mad at the writers making Danielle Todd's daughter instead of Ross.' Forget the spur of the moment rewrite of history which infuriates me too, I am upset that once again the world has to revolve around Todd! Wouldn't it be a novel concept if it were Todd who had to adjust to child of the woman he loves who was not his? What if heaven and earth were moved for the women in his life and not the other way around? You know if they had to give him another kid, why couldn't it have been a teenage boy? I would love to see Todd brought face to face with an angry younger version of himself to deal with, rather than another woman who is doomed to eventually worship the ground he walks on. Proudmary
