And Mitch is alive, then who was cremated?!  As I recall, it was never fully resolved as to whether Todd did it or Jessica did it.  To me, both thought they had done it and confessed.  Due to the conflicting confessions and the fact that Todd stole the evidence, Bo had no choice but to close the case.  I wonder (and this is speculation) if some of this information was what was on the DVD that Allison Perkins had before her second coma.
